Off topic I know but that Euro 2000 is easily the best international tournament I've veer witnessed. I was living in France at the time, that Zidane goal in the semi against Portugal, people went crazy. Then the Wiltord equalizer in the final and the Trezegoal winner...

Nah it was mostly Boulahrouz not getting a red cars for kicking Ronaldo out of the game. I think Ruud once said in a interview that Ronaldo actually still had scars from where Boulahrouz hit him.

We didn't win but it was probably the best performance (football quality wise) by our NT in a tournament. Incredible football. We crushed Germany with our B team ffs
