World Cup Qualifiers | October 2017 | Play off draw on Tuesday

Ecuador has given goals for Argentina. If they can not win this, Sampaioli is needed to be fired.

Argentina always struggle with altitude. Haven't won in Quito since 91, Messi has failed to win in 5. Bolivia notoriously put 6 past them...

It's terrible: ball travels faster (a bigger problem for keepers), sprint and you feel like you have asthma and your lungs collapsed, soon enough the lack of oxygen gives you a splitting headache... Your whole body goes into overdrive trying to compensate, the very skinny Francescoli once shed more than one stone in a single game. And that was without vomiting, I once saw three different players puke on the side of the pitch.

Great fun.

Ho-Lee-Shit.

How's your game? Are Brazil bothering at all or happy with a draw and no injuries going back to their clubs?

Has been a hard game so far. Bravo saved two goals already. We had some chances too but not as clear. Brazil committing a lot of fouls though. Neymar and Coutinho carded.

They've been having a go from what I've seen. They're clearly a bit shite but they've threatened on the counter a few times.

cheers

I hope they remain the same with these 5 teams going through for the good of the World Cup, but I want some excitement first. This hasn't lived up to expectations so far

If everything remain the same, a draw is enough for Argentina to miss out. So its gonna be 45 infarting minutes for them at least, and everyone seem to be watching that game. Another Ecuador early goal hopefully... :D

The altitude aspect of the game is something I've never even thought of before. Makes so much sense now, it's really interesting to think about from a European's point of view.

Just pray that Ecuador can get one back and Peru can substitute on some extra powerful Alpacas to seal the game.

Sounds almost like Mexico City save a couple thousand feet in elevation. But then you get the smog factor in MC. How bad is the smog factor in Quito?

Really Sanchez. Think about it, if you want to play together with Bravo.

2:0 Gameover, Chile has to hope for Columbia.

Chile are fecked. Colombia probably won't risk going for the win as they're currently sitting comfortably fourth in the table.

edit: And a few seconds after me posting that, Colombia take the lead

Can't say Chile bottled it. Going to Brazil asking for a result is impossible anyway.

Fecks sake, Howard. What the hell. He's drunk or something. Yeah, that bounce was because of the pitch conditions but then running around like a headless chicken. And not a single defender in sight.
