It's a close call but really when I say 'best possible draw' i mean - not Italy, Croatia or Denmark tbh.
Sweden have been screwed again. This time they had France in the group and Italy in the playoff, last time it was Germany in the group and Portugal in the playoff. Feel bad for them.

Hard to beat. Won 9 and lost 1 of their 10 group games. Missed out on GD to Portugal for automatic qualification.
sweden will be tough, it will depend on italy's having back the many injured and the veterans planning the tie despite ventura being out of his depth at that level
But in an absurdly easy group.

I don't rate Switzerland at all so I'm very happy with the draw. Of course I might look silly if they beat us comfortably but they look toothless up front and Djourou still starts for them at the back.
Croatia, Italy, Switzerland and Denmark the winners, IMO.

Feel sorry for Sweden. They seem more than good enough to qualify and may well have done with any other draw. Odds stacked against that happening now.

Not sure why many considered it a good draw for RoI. Nobody in the Ireland team can even come close to Eriksen's level, and Denmark also have a few other handy players like Werder's Thomas Delaney. Been trending up lately after slow start to the qualification campaign, with 4-0 demolition of table-topping Poland being the highlight. That said, I do respect MoN's ability to come up huge in crucial matches. Should be a belter.

Denmark destroyed us 4-0 in Copenhagen, by no means are they an easy draw for Irishes.
The only one i didn't want we got, against Croatia we won't see much of the ball... I really hope Modric gets slightly injured only just so he misses at least the 1st leg :P. I still think we can qualify as long as Manolas is not injured and is fit for the 1st leg, we can keep a clean sheet and go for it in Greece.

Absolutely hate playing against Greece. 2 horrible ties. Also last time we played there there was a lot of trouble in the stands, guys in motorcycle helmets throwing Molotov cocktails or some shit at our fans.
