Some juicy qualifiers tonight, June 7th.

Belgium - Serbia

Albania - Norway

Portugal - Russia

Montenegro - Ukraine

Argentina - Colombia

Czech Rep - Italy

Latvia vs Bosnia about to start as well, could be a big step to qualify after we went 3 points ahead of Greece in the last match.

Good luck. Can you imagine Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania in the World Cup... and no Serbia?

Are Albania any good? The Norway odds are decent.

Great 5-0 win for Bosnia, away from home. Incredibly frustrating first half, missing loads of chances but a goal at te start of the second opened up the flood gates. 6 points ahead of second place Greece now.

Bosnia are more or less qualified now, right?

Greece play later today, and they'll probably win so it'll be 3 points behind with 4 games to go. Bosnia still have to play home and away to Slovakia so it could be tough, but we need 2 wins from the 3 games against Slovakia (twice) and Lithuania to be guaranteed first place. We should be good though.

Bosnia have a very good team. Greece, somehow, always make it.

Ireland 2-0 up. Robbie Keane with both goals.

Balotelli sent off for Italy; proceeds to lash out in the tunnel.

Austria win, looked like Sweden should've had a last minute penalty. I was watching on a crappy stream though.

Indeed, but Sweden can feck off, the ref gave them everything all game. They played like rugby or ice hockey, couldn't give a feck about the pen shouts at the end. We deserved to win, should've been up by three at least before Elmander scored their consolation. Really chuffed today, we might not make it to Brazil, but after 15 years of seeing shite this team has real potential. Until up a couple of years ago we would've lost after conceding.

That's going to be a great game. Messi vs. Falcao :)

Argies are top of the group with 24 points from 11 games, Colombia are 3rd with 19 pts from 10 games.

Anyone know much about Argentina's current form and Columbia's current side. Thinking about staying up and watching it tonight.

Quite simply, first and second-placed in the South America qualifiers. If you ask me, the only two teams from the region capable of doing anything significant next year in Brazil, probably more so than the hosts themselves.

Both are fairly safe in terms of qualifying so may be more expansive than otherwise. Colombia have in the past delivered the Argies some shockers in Buenos Aires so it could be quite a tasty game.

1-1, not so bad.

A part of me died watching this game. I couldn't be in stadium this time but still. A lot of chances and then in the end we allow a midget to score a goal from a cross. Shieet. Now the chances are much worse to qualify :S

WHo would you say is favourites? I have stuck a bet on Argentina and not sure how wise it is.

Are the odds attractive? Mugs bet otherwise as either team winning or a draw are very plausible outcomes in my book. I don't see either team as unbeatable and their stronger point is their attack. Imagine United visting United earlier in the season, anything could come out of that really.

I only just realised what good business Monaco did in getting both Falcao and Rodriguez. Clocked both deals in isolation and only just related them back to how fecking on fire they've been in the qualifiers.

Sorry Ole, I know it doesn't help.

And did Messi ever recover from that injury properly?

:nervous:

Yeah, you were by far the better team and deserved to win. At one point I sat here hoping that you would destroy us 4 or 5 nil so that we might get rid of our current manager, and then we manage to steal a point from a set piece, which is the only way we are able to create chances.

Far from good enough. There is still a chance, but everybody knows that we won't win all the remaining home matches. Also, if we somehow manage to grab a play-off spot, we'll be destroyed no matter who we draw. We should just change manager, change the entire staff and start on a fresh, replace most of the first team with the current U21 team and give it a go in the Euro qualification.

The odds are decent, yeah. The bet's become more important to me breaking even tonight as Croatia lost to fecking Scotland and this was the only game I had that I was not sure would come in and I will be down marginally if Argentina don't win(£10) which is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
