The only way I'd be content with martial leaving would be if we got a player of similar ability/potential in return, so if he has to go then I would be in favour of this. I'd still rather keep Tony though.

I'd do it, hes better than Martial, but I wouldn't want our pants pulled down over it. He is one of the most overrated players on the planet at the moment as Messi gets older and people desperately search for the 'next Messi'. No guarantee at all that he will be that.
They need to sell but they a lot of fringe players, like Jesé, Krychowiak, Ben Arfa and then you have the players that have consistently underwhelmed like Di Maria, Kurzawa, Berchiche, Pastore or Trapp.

As for PSG needing to sell, at the moment they have to raise like €60m for a season or two before last summer. Next season FFP will come after them and rightly so. Not even United could afford €350m on two players. Never mind a club with feck all TV money and not much sponsorship appeal (apart from fabricated ones).

From what I understande yes, I think its set in stone but either to make the contract longer or to shift when the money enters ffp calculations it was made a loan for a year with the purchase being more or less nailed on as a obligation.

Yep. Martial is great and I like him, but his attitude has always left me a little cold. Never really felt like his heart was in it. If he stays, I'll be delighted if he proves me wrong.
