This reminds me of when you signed Van Persie. It might only be for a season or two but he'll be worth what ever he's being paid. I didn't expect him to do as well as this so soon though. Top player, always has been and always will be.
Pretty much. He's not going to be long-term (in that he probably won't be a top player in 3 or 4 years, maybe less), but while he's at his best it'd be silly not to get what we can out of him when he's still insanely good.

Someone said 6-7 open league goal? Surely they jest. Nevertheless, his performance so far at United was never in doubt in my own opinion. With so much arrogance and passion, amongst other things I could not have seen him turning into Falcao 2.0.
He scores goals but his passing, particularly his backward passes, were very poor.

It's great having a striker dominant in the air. He won't face many tougher CB partnerships than Fonte and Van Dijk either.
