The shop opposite ours is getting smashed in. Complete wankers.
Opposite where you are at right now or opposite the shop in MK ?

Twitter has brought England to its knees.
You see, now this is what pisses me off (apart from the content of picture).
This photo has been around for fecking ages, yet the papers are twisting it saying its 'a part of the riot'. fecking rags.

Where abouts are ya?
I just heard a violent battering, hammering sound at my window, and despite being five floors up, my normally unflappable sang-froid briefly flapped. I got up and went into the living room, where I found the cat hurling herself against the window in an attempt to murder a wasp. She caught it, then ate it.
Feral
What a pussy (the cat that is)![]()
Disagree.
All of my closest towns: Wimbledon, Croydon, Bromley were all shut down mid afternoon today and with it shops, supermarkets, my gym etc. People are taking major precautions early and it creates a lot of tension.
There was even a crack in the glass at my local Waitrose.![]()
robust cops wasnt that a film?

I dunno, maybe I'm odd, but I'm really not that worried.
Hopefully you're right Mocks. I truly want what you say to be true. I think it's just because of what happened to us last night that put me into paranoia mode. I just want all this shit to end so shops can open back up so I can get beer by Friday evening

These things happen every few years in different places all over Europe... It's not going to go on indefinitely and so far (where I am in Clapham & Brixton to be fair) no ones been attacked. It'll die down in a few days, people will be arrested, and everyone will look back on it as a completely stupid couple of days.

Look what the scum bags did to that arse ! It's fecking destroyed
I don't know but this is certainly going to be made into a film, with Danny Dyer playing every single character.
Evening gimps.
For any Essex geezers on here, Lakeside is NOT currently on fire/being looted/under attack from Hitler. Nothing is happening there, except they've boarded up the outside shop entrances, which is odd in itself as they all have bomb proof security shutters. The Police are all currently sat around at C100 station eating fish and chips. If anything there's less rioting here than usual seeing as the West Ham game was cancelled.
And while I'm here, have the phrases "kicking off/kicked off/going to kick off" ever been more ridiculously overused than today? fecking stop it the lot of you.
Finders keepers and we all look after each other
I agree, it's summer craziness, the Dog Days
I was in Lakeside earlier and the scariest thing were the people dragging their knuckles into the West Ham shop.
Meanwhile in Darge-nahm a load of hoodies are still standing around trying to look like menaces whilst the police outnumber them.
Not sure this guy has really grasped the concept of finders keepers...
I kind of agree, but I do worry a little that a myth has been destroyed... the myth that the authorities are in control and a bunch of yobs can't just take over at will.
Now the cat is out of the bag I can't see why this won't recur every summer... a bit like Big Brother.
Waterstone's employee on the news: "We'll stay open, if they steal some books they might learn something."
Sheer quality.

Having rules for a riot is like trying to herd cats. It doesn't work, because they're all fecking idiots.
Surely it would be too much for rioters from bloomin' Thurrock to loot Lakeside.
It's hardly close to anything else either. Preposterous.
