Evra accuses Suarez of racist remarks | Suarez guilty of racial abuse

Some RAWK quotes someone posted on another forum;

:lol::wenger:

What did you expect from RAWK , they think that everybody is bent and hell bent on destroying Liverpool , we only win thing because the FA , Sky ,Ref are who ever else are all bent and want United to win everything.
They write about wanting our player and SAF to have nasty accidents and want them to have broken bones.
Of course they think Evra and SAF are lying cheating and have a vendetta against anything Liverpool.
Leave them too it.

Good link Steve.

I did not find anything on the Wright/Smikes business.

What I remember Fergie saying then was..I pharaphrase here."We are a club with an international following. And we would not accept such behaviour from any of our players"
Nothing came of it as I could remember. Only the two players would know what actually happened.

Liverpool were right to stand by their player when he said that nothing had happened.
The mistake Liverpool made is coming out and saying Evra should be punished if there were no charges...before the FA had made any findings.

SAF said Evra was pursuing his claim. Nothing else. No accusation of Suarez.

In the end it does not matter If the FA fines Suarez a thousand punds and gave him a two match ban.

He would have been found guilty of racism.

Liverpool will then have to respond. They cannot ignore this.

That is their predicament.

The ramifications of this to the club could be huge.

Incredible to see RAWK condoning this and blaming Evra.

If he's found not-guilty then it will be interesting to see on what grounds the FA decided to charge him in the first place.

It's also great to see us handle the whole situation with such calmness and class whilst Kenny has felt the need to continuously bleat about it. He must be feeling like a right twat about now...

It's like the Derren Brown episode recently. Mob mentality. They're just a mob with no agenda. Sheep who echo each others shit without thinking.

Thumbs up to the FA. This was a make or break decision with respect to the Kick it Out campaign and they've not ducked their responsibilities

What do you expect from the shit throwing cnuts who trash toilets and write Munich on the walls?

Because that's representative of all Liverpool fans, isn't it...

From the second the accusations were made, this was never a case of looking for what's right or both sets of fans considering the fact that their player may be lieing and considering previous accusations and evidence.

It's just panned out as United vs Liverpool. United fans believe Evra - Suarez is a racist twat. Pool fans, and the club, believe Suarez - Evra is a lieing prick.

Sad, really. Common sense hasn't prevailed at all, and you'd think someone like Dalgleish would have the deceny to at least see both sides of the sitatuion. Fair enough, support Suarez, but at least mention that if found guilty, he'll be punished as Liverpool FC do not condonce racism, blah blah.

Liverpool fans are the worst by far for refusing to believe their own can do any wrong. They take hero worship to disturbing levels.

Dalglish has massively inflamed the situation. He really shouldn't escape punishment for his actions

I hope you're not talking about Evra here, because it's a myth that he's made accusations in the past.

I feel completely justified in making my rash judgement that he was guilty.

I will do this more so in the future.

Not the first Liverpool player to make a complete arse of himself on twitter, although he is a little more high profile than the last almighty muppet.

Surely a lawyer somewhere could weigh in on this one, either the norms of what a word means in the country you're in takes precedent in FA regulation, or they don't.

I can't personally believe the 'If I can say it somewhere that's not here, and it's okay, then it's okay here' defense will work. Otherwise how could you ever prosecute for racism, all racist words gets used between friends somewhere.

"But Snoop Dogg says it all the time"

Anything. It's the FA. They'll probably find him moon-guilty, fine him 3 match-balls and issue a ban for seven frimpongs.

"But Snoop Dogg says it all the time"

That's just about his excuse. Are the linguistic norms of Englewood less relevant than Salto, Uruguay?

I would think, from a legal perspective, you can't accept a defense that would excuse every case of racism.

Suarez isn't a child, he knew the effect his words would have on Evra.

One of the more intelectually challenged comments on the Yahoo Europsport page:

i dont understand,evra is black so what is wrong with* suarez pointing that out.if he was stopped by police* and they said he was a black male,is that racist.if he* is ashamed of his colour he should not go on T.V.This* racism thing has gone nuts,please tell me there are* blacks that are proud of their heritage

The FA working with their usual efficiency, I see.

How long have they waited to charge him? Any good reason why there's a massive difference with the time they took to charge Rooney?

Who are Liverpool playing next anyway?

<insert conspiracy theory here>

I'd say it's because it was one players word against another, difficult to make a call. The fact it wasn't dropped surprises me a bit to be honest.

if he* is ashamed of his colour he should not go on T.V.

Or maybe he could cover himself in a white sheet, like those nice KKK people.
