I thought there was a chance Berba would start today after the goal on tuesday. Great to see Rooney back, as well as Rio fit to start three game in a week.

I think Berbatov is definitely injured to not make the bench, but I hope he's fit for Palace mid-week. I am slightly surprised to see Fletcher and Jones left out entirely even after playing Internationals and plenty of games for us lately. I was expecting their rest to come against Palace - unless SAF is taking that more seriously than I first thought.
Giggs to score, whatever happens.

With Fletcher I think it's because he's still under doctor's orders to only play one match a week for now. He did manage to play 14 minutes last Saturday and all 90 minutes last Tuesday but at the moment it's still too much to expect him to play more than one match a week though he is getting better. Jones and Berbatov's absences have been explained earlier in this thread I think.
Nice side overall, I think we should do well. Will be a tough game though.
