Suarez has admitted calling Evra a 'negro' - that is not acceptable ANYWHERE and IS racist. Trying to say it's a cultural thing is absoultely ridiculous and they're as bad as he is for trying to find ways of defending this!
Put the boot on the other foot here for a minute. Imagine if it was Hernandez patting Glen Johnson on the head and calling him a negro. How would the scousers have reacted to that? There would be more petitions and boycotts than you could shake a stick at and Hernandez would be branded the head of the KKK.
If it was one of ours coming out with that,I'd be fecking ashamed of him and would want him out of the club. There's no room in the game for this kind of shit and I couldn't support someone who tries to belittle or wind up an opponent by using the colour of his fecking skin.

He won't get a lengthy ban. That would only happen if the evidence was public and smacked you in the face every time you googled Suarez. A 2 game ban plus a hefty fine.

Looking at Twitter and the comments on stuff like that HW article, it's actually quite saddening how many people will drop their principles in a flash if they think their football team may be disadvantaged.
Given that, as often observed, we're all pretty alike really, that isn't even a dig at Liveropol fans. They are the ones demonstrating the fact very publicly, but I worry about how a lot of twats on our side might react if the situation werre reversed.

I may contradict myself here but there is also the issue of the FA "showing FIFA how it's done" with regards to racism so a lengthy ban/deportation/cancellation of work permit is not out of the question.
