I'd rather we have kept Carrick in midfield and played Fryers CB. Lack of CBs is a concern, hope Jones & Smalling are not out for any period of time.
Rooney should be starting since there is a 5 day gap to the next game. Wigan are a poor side and we should win but I'm a bit concerned with that line-up.

Why do people keep saying No Evans on the bench when the poor sod is in the starting lineup??
i would prefer Pogba to be on the bench, no need 3 strikers on the bench.

Carrickbauer in defence. If we've got no other options then so be it. But it's disappointing to see him there since he's in such good form.

Well, I have to assume it's injuries or at least little niggles that have caused us to start with this lineup, disrupting Carrick for instance when he's bang in form like this. So no complaints.
