I've respect for Liverpool football club but over the past few months they really have been an embarrassment to the Premier League. Their fans have been a disgrace, well some. Their players and manager have acted completely inappropriately. I don't think they can take an once of credibility from this entire saga.

Well, for 1, they very thoroughly considered the context of Suarez's language in Uruguay to glean his intent, and they found that in a combative argument his use of 'negro' would be seen as racist, specifically that you wouldn't use it in a friendly way if you were scowling.
Suarez's claim 'negro' is never used in a racist way in Uruguay is wrong as shown in the report, and I have a very hard time believing that he really believes that himself.

First of all, Evra didn't 'racially abuse' Suarez. The whole idea that he called him a "south american" was laughed at (as it should be) by Evra everyone who was on the Panel. It didn't make any sense in any context and is part of the reason why the evidence built up to a point where Suarez in no longer credible and the panel accepted Evra's version while rejecting Suarez's. Suarez lied about both the context and the content of the conversation.
