Yep. At some point I think he'll be England's rightback. Has the right balance between defense and attack unlike Richards, Johnson and Walker who are more attack minded.
Think the positioning of the left as well as the fact they're lack of pace (Giggs or Park) has meant they're not really threatening the twin full backs Downing and Kelly.
Conversely Valencia and Rafael have worked well in tandem which is why they've shone.

If that's accurate, I'd like to see LFC punished as a club, not just the fan. They helped create the kind of atmosphere where a fan might think such a thing is acceptable through their handling of the Suarez situation.

Our back 4 has impressed me most, Smalling and Evans look like Vidic and Rio (at least with the ball at their feet) while Rafael and Evra are coping well with Liverpool when they do get the ball.
