After the first 15 minutes we started to pay some nice football. Welbz has been very good, Young's done nicely as well and Scholes is spreading the balls very well.

Not an easy game by any means though.
 
Nice stuff from us so far. We've been a little bit inconsistent with our final ball otherwise we'd surely have a few more goals. The match started slow but we're warming up nicely.

Let's try and kill them off quickly. More chances for Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck and Young please.
 
We're so good when teams sit off. Briliant at executing wave after wave of attack and keeping them penned in. This is why we get so many late winners, as ultimately that's what teams look to do against us when they shut up shop.

It's only when they're capable of pressing well and have a go at us when we seem to struggle.
 
Shades of the old United with the sharp passing in their area near the end of the 1st half.

We really need to keep the tempo up and kill the game off though.

We weren't great for the first 20 mins or so but been very good after that. Need to get an early goal and kill this off and hope Swansea can get a win somehow.

Hmm don't think that's fair on Bilbao, they are a better side no doubt and more importantly they pressed the hell out of us, WBA have stood off. If Scholes is playing teams should press but as long as they don't he'll pick holes in them.

We've got the balance better today which is a big improvement, particularly in the second part of the half. For the first parts we were playing slowly and didn't really have any width as Welbeck and Young both came inside and Evra didn't get forward as much. Later though he started getting forward more, Jones started overlapping better and the midfielders pushed up the pitch which all really helped.
 
WB made a mistake by getting away from the defensive pressure they were applying on us...thankfully. we've kept medium pressure defensive pressure on them which is good to see. everyone playing well. change nothing tactic wise.

I'm not a fan of watching games on streams but there's something to be said for watching the game whilst sitting on the jacks having a big poo.
