Manchester United vs. Swansea City

I will be so dissapointed if we don't even try and have a go at the goal difference. Of course its unlikely but its not impossible.

Fergie's team selections have been baffling at times, and today is again. Nani started against City and now he throws him onto the bench for Valencia and a far inferior player in Young. What the feck is the point? Why put our 2nd best player on the bench when we need to hit a shitload of goals past a team who have a tendency to concede a shitload of goals? Daft.

I hope we come out at a high tempo and have a real go and getting a high score. Finish the season fighting.

Fergie :D
Showing the team arriving on ESPN here.
Val looking serious as ever.

Big cheers from the Swansea away fans when City scored the second. Then a few of them doing the Poznan.

To rub salt into the wounds before KO. Banter more than anything.

Right, 0-0-10 tactic it is then. 11-1 to us.

Stoke fans cheered all 8 of Chelsea's goals a couple of seasons ago too. Something to have fun with when you're at a dead rubber game.

Because neutrals hate United.Thought you'd know that by now.

Alright then, whats the minimum scoreline we need today to atleast make the last day interesting, 7-8?

Because they're sad feckers who likely hate United.

A guy in my work, who supports a non-English club, absolutely detests us and said he wants City to bring us down a peg or two. I suppose people are happy seeing a team get their way to the top by throwing money about like it grows on trees.

He has dropped Park, but thought he was good enough to play against City when he has not particularly played well all season. Unfortunately that could have been the display that persuades Sir Alex to sell him.

Jamie Redknapp

"I think Joe Hart has developed into the best keeper in the world"

All we can do now is go out and play our natural game. Make chances, take them, and keep tight at the back (sounds so simple, eh). And who knows what will happen, however unlikely the required result is.

I think the league is gone, I just hope we give the Old Trafford faithful a good performance for the last home game of the season.

Got a lot of texts from Liverpool fans. Let´s do the Welsh pigs 17-0

what about City humiliating us twice this season , 10 mins v Everton has not cost us the PL this season.
Ferguson said: “I think the Everton game was the killer for us. It was an absolutely ridiculous performance in the last 10 minutes of the match. Just absolute carelessness.
“It’s all right saying the history of the club is to attack all the time but it was a stupid performance and it’s put us on the back foot, no question about that.
“If we lose the league we’ll have to accept the Everton game did it. No doubt about that.”

Last home game of the season. Let it be a good performance.
Decent season in the league. Poor overall.
Lets end it right.

I want a serious performance from the team today. No pressure, just give the fans something to ease the pain and enjoy the last home game of the season.

If we happen to be 5 up at HT then we can start thinking about GD!

Hopefully City the league on Goal Difference because at least means we were level on points with them.

No one really believes we'll get ten.Let's just relax and hopefully enjoy a good performance.

Will it be a career ender for some?
Fergie remembers these.
Berba barely got a look in after missing the chances against City in the FA cup last season.

T Ho knows about it too.

I accept that the last 10 mins v Everton was shocking but if we had of done the job in other matches eg Wigan , it would not of mattered.

I think there has been unbelievable complacency by the team. Oh it's only Wigan, we always beat Wigan. It's only Blackburn, It's only Newcastle. Then winning 4-2 and switching off. That attitude needs changing and quick.
