Sunderland vs. Manchester United

Sunderland should just do the right thing and score 20 own goals.

Forget parking the bus, QPR need to park the whole bloody bus station!

I'm praying all week for a miracle here. I know it's a long shot, but I still have a tiny glimmer of hope.

If we can get an early goal and the word filters around the council house that we've taken the lead, believe me they will crap themselves.

Like they did against Newcastle when things were going tough?

The one plus is that QPR only need a point. If they are 1 - 0 down with 10 or 20 minutes to go they will have incentive to get back in it. If they needed a win then a goal from City would just kill them.

Or more like they did against Arsenal.

Well, they lost to a better team that day, nothing to do with pressure. They've shown this season they're capable of handling the pressure, they've been better at it than us for all the talk about how our players have been there, done that and experience is going to help them. It didn't.

They'll be 3-0 down by half time most likely. There will be two teams needing something from that game - one of them needing a win to win the title, the other needing a draw to stay up. There can only be one outcome unfortunately.

I think they've shown several times they are capable of shitting the bed as well. They didn't handle the pressure well at all when they had an eight point lead, which is why Mancini has been relentlessly claiming that we've already won the title for the last month. I think they were getting a bit nervous against Newcastle, but then a great goal from Toure settled that.

Not that I think they're likely to feck up against QPR because of nerves but you never know.

They weren't under as much enormous pressure against Arse than they were in the Newcastle match.

But are we seriously comparing Arsenal to QPR here?

They were still under a lot of pressure given it came straight after our win at Blackburn.

QPR beat Arsenal, so basically the title is in the bag lads.

City will win it in style and deservedly so.

We'll probably win, but it'll be similar to the Swansea game. Same team that beat them depending on defensive injuries, but I'd rather Rafael was at right back. Sub on Nani this time too. Probably Giggs on as a sub late as well.

They've shown nerves enough times this season. They must have been getting a little edgy before they scored against Newcastle.

If we do manage to get an early goal, and word spreads around their ground, you never know. Do I think they'll win? Yes. But just stranger things have happened.

I just hope QPR make them a sweat a bit at least, give them a little scare.

Another thing to hope for is Bolton don't roll over at Stoke too early. If news spreads that Stoke are 2 or 3 goals up then QPR won't care anymore.

I doubt this'll happen.

Stoke rarely hammer anyone and they've got little to play for relative to Bolton.

City will win comfortably irrespective of what Bolton and Stoke do

There is absolutely no way, never, that City will NOT win the game against QPR on Sunday. A chance in a life time and they will not fail. Unfortunately.

Who said, we gonna win this one ? Many possibilities are there, especially with such bottling form.

I don't care about City. If United won't show determination for the whole 90+ minutes, some of the players can feck off because they are lowering standards of this truly beautiful club.

Sunderland is no joke, this season. It's a test for us, not for City.

This has the feel of the time it came down to us and Chelsea on the last day, but we had the superior goal difference. It was inevitable we'd beat Wigan and all Chelsea fans knew that. They ended up drawing 1-1 late on as well with Bolton. I can see the same happening here. Resolute QPR hold City off for a while, but City get a penalty and a somewhat late goal and are always in control.

We'll probably still just edge Sunderland if we play like we have since the Villa game, or we could win convincingly if the players are at it. We're still awaiting the fitness of players like Smalling, Ferdinand, and Evans as well. There are still lots of possibilities.

What if we end up playing a back four of Rafael, Jones, Carrick, and Evra? Then Man City actually do draw but so do we. Could be a killer. Hope we just go at it, put in a good performance and beat Sunderland convincingly. If we lose the title, so be it.

Its slighty different this time. Wigan I felt, was a hard game. We had a penalty that could easily have been over-looked by another ref, and I think Wigan had a penalty appeal turned down for handball (righty so).

City's game is not even going to be slighty close I'm afriad. I thought (hoped) Newcastle would get a draw but not a chance for QPR. City have a unbeatable home advantage in the league and QPR are crap away.

If I was given the chance to handpick the one opponent I did not want facing City this Sunday it would have been a toss up between Wolves and QPR.

I know what you mean but at least QPR have something to play for. Would you rather them be playing a mid-table team all with one foot on the plane to sunnier climates?

Not much of a consolation but if we score first on the day, it might put a tiny bit of pressure on them.

Have a feeling we'll see Rooney up top on his own and either Giggs, Nani, Young or Cleverley in behind him.

De Gea
Rafael Jones Ferdinand Evra
Carrick Scholes
Valencia --- Giggs --- Young
