If City won 7-6 and we won 9-0 (both possible) so we were both level on points, goal difference & goals scored.. Who would win the league?

It would be a playoff.
Forget parking the bus, QPR need to park the whole bloody bus station!
I'm praying all week for a miracle here. I know it's a long shot, but I still have a tiny glimmer of hope.
If we can get an early goal and the word filters around the council house that we've taken the lead, believe me they will crap themselves.
Like they did against Newcastle when things were going tough?
Or more like they did against Arsenal.
The one plus is that QPR only need a point. If they are 1 - 0 down with 10 or 20 minutes to go they will have incentive to get back in it. If they needed a win then a goal from City would just kill them.
Well, they lost to a better team that day, nothing to do with pressure. They've shown this season they're capable of handling the pressure, they've been better at it than us for all the talk about how our players have been there, done that and experience is going to help them. It didn't.
Or more like they did against Arsenal.
They weren't under as much enormous pressure against Arse than they were in the Newcastle match.
But are we seriously comparing Arsenal to QPR here?
Like they did against Newcastle when things were going tough?
Another thing to hope for is Bolton don't roll over at Stoke too early. If news spreads that Stoke are 2 or 3 goals up then QPR won't care anymore.
This has the feel of the time it came down to us and Chelsea on the last day, but we had the superior goal difference. It was inevitable we'd beat Wigan and all Chelsea fans knew that. They ended up drawing 1-1 late on as well with Bolton. I can see the same happening here. Resolute QPR hold City off for a while, but City get a penalty and a somewhat late goal and are always in control.
We'll probably still just edge Sunderland if we play like we have since the Villa game, or we could win convincingly if the players are at it. We're still awaiting the fitness of players like Smalling, Ferdinand, and Evans as well. There are still lots of possibilities.
What if we end up playing a back four of Rafael, Jones, Carrick, and Evra? Then Man City actually do draw but so do we. Could be a killer. Hope we just go at it, put in a good performance and beat Sunderland convincingly. If we lose the title, so be it.
If I was given the chance to handpick the one opponent I did not want facing City this Sunday it would have been a toss up between Wolves and QPR.

Not much of a consolation but if we score first on the day, it might put a tiny bit of pressure on them.
That's what I've been saying too.
Just have to hope. I'm not giving up on the title just yet.
Thinking of putting a bet on City to win and getting money off the bitter blues...

Newcastle was your chance mate.Thinking of putting a bet on City to win and getting money off the bitter blues...
Brown injured. Its over folks.
Have a feeling we'll see Rooney up top on his own and either Giggs, Nani, Young or Cleverley in behind him.
De Gea
Rafael Jones Ferdinand Evra
Carrick Scholes
Valencia --- Giggs --- Young
Rooney
I was too, but knowing my luck Man City will draw and we will too!
So is this to be Scholes' last game the second time around?
