Just cant see him fitting in citys side unless they start offliading players

Nasri's fecked. Which is exactly what he deserves, the greedy little cnut. Also they'll likely move Adam Johnson on. Hazard's clearly a greedy shit too. Everyone and their dog knows he's signing for City, and he's being a little cocktease to drive his wages up. Considering he'll have already been offered in excess of 150 grand a week, well, it's hard to have anything but loathing for him.

That's a strange post. Why would i want him to clearly express his will to join United? If he wants to come here, he will. He may be good and i have never seen him play even once, but he doesn't seem to have the right character to play for this club

 you've never seen him play once and yet you decide he may not the right character to play for this club ? You're basing yourself on what ?
Besides why did you feel like I was even talking to you in the first place ?

"City have won the title this year, and they have great players, a great coach and a nice project."

He's already got the lingo down :wenger:

Seriously wtf is the project meant to be? "Spend until you win everything" - brilliant, genius strategy.

I dislike him already, unless we've offered him a contract and agreed a fee then he really shouldn't be talking about us like we're interested whatsoever, bet the City fans will lap it up when he signs for them. I can only imagine City will line up like this next season;

--------------------Hart---------------
Richards--Kompany--Lescott--Clichy
------------------Y.Toure-------------
----------Barry------------Silva-------
Hazard----------Aguero---------Nasri

Basically I don't see this signing effecting Nasri

I think it's the inverse of saying a team has a winning tradition. Since City don't have one, it's the idea of being successful in the future that has to be focused on, aka 'The Project'.

And, of course, the obligatory "I didn't see many red shirts when I arrived in Manchester, only blue shirts."

They are not going to stop signing more players even if they get Hazard.

The "I'll definitely be wearing blue next season" quotes are apparently accurate. Couple that with the "I'll be going to Manchester" quotes, and I don't know why there's still this speculation about where he'd move.

They aren't correct.

False.

They aren't? Fairly reputable sites are reporting that he told Canal+ that, at least the Guardian and ESPNSoccernet are. Did he come out and deny those quotes?

No someone made them on Twitter and its lazy journalism. There was fabricated Kagawa quotes as well that made it onto news websites.

He hasn't denied them but it seems they were fabricated on twitter and all those 'reputable' sites ran with them without checking first. He did give an interview saying he was leaving Lille but he has not said anything about 'definitely wearing blue'.

The thread as to keep going even if there's no hope. It's the Law.

He didn't come out and deny the quotes but those sites say he told Canal+ that but the one person who has been a good source on Hazard - @tomwfootball, who works for the AFP and specialises in French football, said that he saw the interview and Hazard did not say that he said he would be wearing blue next season. We've got no idea where the made up quotes originated but it is safe to say they started on twitter and lazy journalists took the quotes for granted that they were real when they weren't.

And you'll continue with your pessimism in all the threads because you're programmed like that.

I'm not a very perceptive person but I knew immediately that the 'blue' remarks were made-up; they just looked like the kind of lie so-called journalists add to an innocuous quote in order to spice it up.

Hazard's use of the word 'project' is a little ominous. Would he be parroting their silly jargon if he wasn't thinking of getting on board? :nervous:

If he mentions their Elite Development Squad we can abandon all hope.

His brother apparently just tweeted that he's going to City:
Stephen Ryder ‏ @steryder74
“@KylianHazard: simple city champion :)” Eden Hazards brother. That's that then.

You'd think if he was going to tweet that in English that'd he'd form a sentence that made sense. That sentence doesn't sound good, but it doesn't actually mean anything either.

I don't think we're getting Hazard anyway, we don't need both him and Kagawa and it seems fairly certain that we're pursuing Kagawa more so than Hazard.

Could be this.

Fingers crossed SAF successfully pitched him #7 and the idea of making him into something he could never be anywhere else.

Giggidy-giggidy-goo.

Looks like we know where he will be playing his football by next week.

#Eden #Hazard confirms that he will be playing in Manchester next season. Whether it will be at United or City, he did not say. #MUFC #MCFC

It's looking a little unlikely now, but I really want us to sign him, I'll be gutted if he goes to City. We'll probably get Kagawa, so if we got him as well we could line up like this..
Rooney
Hazard Kagawa Nani

Compared to ...
Aguero
Hazard Silva Nasri
If City got him... both are brilliant attacks, but I think he will go to City since we have players like Valencia and Young who can play in that attack as well. A shame since it'd be brilliant to see our attack with him in their.

Didn't look the type to turn down bigger wages going by that 2 minute video clip I saw of him. Yes, I judge.

He'll go to City imo. Like amol, I judged him by that award ceremony where he won Ligue 1 player of the year, and he looked like a guy who liked money!

Apart from that though, at United, he'll have Rooney, Young, Nani, Valencia and hopefully Kagawa to fight for that '3' in a possible 4231. He could get into that, and most likely would after a year or two. However, at City, he'll have Silva, Nasri, Milner, Johnson, Balotelli and sometimes Aguero to fight with for that '3'. I give him more of a chance of slotting straight into the City team, and with them possibly offering higher wages, can you blame him?

Having said that, I'd still love him here, but its not too likely imo unfortunately:(

"He looked like a guy that liked money" I love that. He doesn't like money as much as the black player that was on the camera at the start with the gold slippers. He'll be going to City too.

 Its his whole appearance though. Stylish clothes and all that. You wouldnt see Scholes or Giggs like that:wenger:

Obviously I'm saying half in jest, but I reckon he's City-bound.

I know you are, and you're probably right.

Who'd have him rather than Kagawa then?

Manchester City.

This is the Nasri situation of last year with less Evra quotes. Dont do it to yourselves people, we're clearly concentrating on Kagawa who is "value" with his contract situation.
