What chequered fitness record?

At Dortmund he did his metatarsal and missed half a season but other than that featured in practically every match.

At Cerezo Osaka he played 36, 35, 44, and 12 matches in his four seasons, and the low number in his final season I believe is only because he transferred to Dortmund midway through the season.

Where's that from? As letranger said, he hasn't had a lot of injuries over the last few years.

He's never been injury prone. Must be Manchester water. He and Rio can go see a back doctor together.

The twinge in his back sounds a lot like internationalitis which has been epidemic in our squad for years. It generally rears its ugly head around friendlies.

Needs to bulk the feck up.

The middle finger isn't the issue, the main question is....."does he even lift?"

His finishing is a bit weak. He had a good record at Dortmund so I'm expecting to hit a bit of a run soon. Fantastic touch and passing.

He was good when on the ball but for me he didn't really take charge as much as I would have liked. Still bedding in though, looks really promising. I'd just like more of our play to go through Kagawa, he had less touches than either of the wingers tonight.

Played quite well but clearly still adjusting to how we play. He's playing more reserved than he did at Dortmund. I don't think him and RVP have been linking up particularly well, still early days though and hopefully it will improve.

He has been decent in a United shirt so far, but not at his best. There is more to come.

His class is obvious but I'm not sure our style of play suits him. It's also what he said some time ago. We tend to go wide so much more than Dortmund does for example.

Still don't think the other players are using him nearly enough. He makes space for himself over and over again only for us to pass it backwards or sideways.

I especially thought Scholes overlooked him far too much tonight. Carrick found him quite often though.
