Liverpool vs. Manchester United

Im currently looking a Graeme Le Saux talking about his yesteryear career. So, am I on the right channel?

I love Giggs but his form has been very poor and I don't understand why he's starting in CM ahead of Cleverley. Lindegaard over DDG was expected but I'd prefer DDG.

What's wrong with Vidic?

We have no midfield. Still think we should do them. The front 4 look great. And Giggs can provide them with good passes.

The concern is Giggs starting alongside Carrick, it doesn't look good whatsoever on paper. He needs to have a brilliant game. Our attackers need to be on top form because Liverpool will score today.

Evra captain? Or will it be Giggs just to calm things down?

Its funny how we claim cleverley and anderson(ok to a lesser extent) are the future but when it comes to the moment, we prefer a 38 year old winger in midfield over him. You've got to believe that cleverley has the character to deal with the situation. I still think we can win this but I would've preferred anderson or cleverley.

Ok how does this sound. We have the defensive capablities of Carrick with the possession football being played by Kagawa and Giggs and still have Nani Valencia and RVP for attack.

We will win.

ha ha, miserable feckers the lot of you. (Brwned don't give me an infraction for that).

Must be hard work waking up each day with should a negative outlook on stuff.

That midfield will be opened up like a hot knife through butter.
Going to need someone like RVP or Kagawa to pull off miracles.

Get a hold of yourself man!

 I can just see it coming. Shelvey, Allen and Gerrard will have too much time against Giggs and Carrick. As I said an hour ago if Kagawa is in the middle we may have a shout, if he's behind RVP we will be too open.

Giggs starting

feck sake

At least it's not Giggs and Scholes i suppose.

We'll need a more robust midfield against better opposition and admittedly Fletcher is recently returned. Hopefully they can get by today either through an early goal or sheer work rate.

Is Anderson not match fit or jsut a permanent bench warmer btw? Or why not Cleverly?

I think Danny is our best lone striker and works the hardest. I think it's safer to rest RvP because he'll get the shit kicked out of him by the amateurs at Anfield. Giggs will definitely start but I fecking hope not in central midfield.

I just hope we don't leave too much space between Carrick and Giggs/Kagawa. That would give them control in the middle of the park. Good thing is that their midfield looks wank.

I don't get the dislike of Lindegaard, he's done nothing wrong and would have been harsh to drop him for today.

Urgh, just fecking play De Gea.

Funny how Giggs rarely plays and not always in CM, yet come Liverpool time he gets a start? Should've been Cleverley or Anderson.

EDIT - or Scholes

Why are you all surprised at Giggs starting? He had a good game against Wigan and was rested mid week. SAF always goes for experience in these sort of games.

Giggs and Carrick were brilliant against Chelsea a couple of years ago in the CL at the bridge. Giggs hasn't lost a step since then either, imo - it's his shit passing that gets him into trouble. It's not necessarily a disaster by any means.

feckin hell, 1 complaint about a line up and you're on suicide watch according to some.

Gerrard, Allen and Shelvey aren't the most mobile three in the world. I don't think it's going to be as big a problem as people think.

That's possibly a discussion for another thread (as it could get very lengthy). Apart from the obvious potential reasons why Anders plays & not DDG, it could even be that SAF doesn't consider this a truly big match; after all, Liverpool are not exactly setting the PL on fire, are they?

Because most people see it as De Gea being dropped, not the other way round?
How come? De Gea was always going to start against Galatasaray. Today shows who's the number one at the moment which is Lindegaard.

Surprised at the moaning about the CM. Giggs and Carrick have done very well in the past.

Has Fergie just lost his balls on something?

Cleverley and/or Anderson are never going to be trusted in games like this until he literally has no choice...even when they blatanty make us a much better team.
