If Torres does start playing well now Rafa is there it's a disgrace and he should be ashamed of himself. Being crap is one thing, actually not trying is something else.

Maybe Roman is hoping that Rafa will somehow boost Torres' performances, giving him a potentially bigger price tag when he's moved on (and thus providing extra funds for the Falcao purchase).
