Manchester United vs. Queens Park Rangers

Young is being bullied

That actually might have been a penalty, from the single replay I saw.

No point having the best two forwards in the league with the service thre getting. Very disaapointing this midfield issue, why is no one at the club picking up on this?

No cohesion, no organization, no cutting edge despite having two of the best forwards in world football. What the hell is going on at carrington? Some of these decisions are baffling.

Seriously, one loss of possession and it's a nightmare from Scholes....

It's not been one though, has it? It's been one caught daudling in possession (which has happened a few times this season),but several misplaced passes and aimless long balls. Not to mention just being slow and overly casual.

What have either of them done in this game that's been good? It's all very well and good saying "QPR are parking the bus" but a) they aren't, they're attacking quite a bit, and b) a lot of teams flood the defence against the big teams, but only we seem implausibly incapable of breaking them down, and insist on continually playing this 4-4-2 nonsense with slow, undynamic players.

I'm seriously baffled as to what Ferguson thinks is going wrong here. He must see something is, and he just refuses to admit it can possibly be the team selection or formation.

But obviously yeah, we're just moaning cos it's in fashion. We love this kind of stuff really. We want them to fail.

I genuinely don't know what our game plan is. Every player seems to look up and hit it wide in hope rather than expectation 9 times out of 10. People are picking out Scholes and Fletch but its not as if anyone else has tried to do much different. Van Persie a bit, Rooney once or twice, a little from Evra but really the lack of invention throughout the side is seriously concerning. A straight line has more dimensions than the Man Utd XI out there right now.

You know, a lot of times watching us this season I feel like I'm watching a Fifa newbie or one who's just started using a different controller... where you try to do something but take too long and lose possession, or just keep passing around, or overhit passes, or what you try just doesn't work, or just get one thing that works and get into the habit of trying it again and again even if it doesn't work after a while, and can never defend against an opponent breaking at pace or just keep making mistakes defending..

No, it's because some of the comments here are bordering on retardation.

We're dominating possession against a midfield three, struggling to find space up front but still making inroads. Is it impossible for people to be patient? We'll win this game easily.

My favourite type of comment is the one about a "static" centre midfield. That's despite the fact we're playing a very fluid front four of RVP, Rooney, Welbeck and Young. Do people just want everyone running around like fecking mentalists altogether? Even so, in this "static" central midfield, Scholes has broken into their box repeatedly so far.

Expectations of some people just mark them out as knowing feck all about anything, basically.

Are you seriously saying your pleased with this? Creating one good chance in the whole half against qpr? You must have seriously low expectations, because I'm expecting a team that can win the league and compete in Europe. Not struggle against the worst team in the league, at home. The sad thing is how painfully obvious it is to see what the problems are, and the solutions are on the bench.

Who gives a feck, back your teammate and give him a rollicking behind closed doors.

Back him up for what exactly? They were hardly assaulting him. Young is a big boy, he can surely handle a few words being said to him?

Don't we have an awful record of conceding within the first fifteen minutes of the second half, too? :nervous:
