Would love us to sign him. He's immense.
You have Isco who costs around 15-20 milions(someone mentioned this price in his thread), and who is is way more talented then Bale, and you have Bale who costs around 30-35 milions, who would you take?
Got to remember its a different game when you're playing for the likes of Utd. Probably find he won't be afforded as much room, so what happens when people do a Rafael on him and he's not allowed to do his kick and run?
Maybe in the early days people underestimated him and his pace , but not for ages . against inter a couple of yrs ago he made everyone sit up and take note and people tend to stay on hom now yet he still causes mayhem.
What makes you say Isco is way more talented Amar? from the stats ive read Isco has played lots of his games at a lower level than Bale, and Bale plays more on the wing.
given the choice would you prefer to see , lets say Nani on the wing for United or bale ?

A left footed winger on the left wing. Would love to see that.

A left footed winger on the left wing. Would love to see that. Hes still only 23 or something so would love him with us tbh. Think he would improve quite a lot still if he plays with us.
You can flip that and say you have Isco who is possibly more talented yet not proven in the PL compared to a guy who is proven in the PL and is everything United love. A good old fashioned winger. United can still make that system work if they have good enough wingers (which Valencia and Nani are on their day, being fantastic and arguably the best in the league). Bale can be like that and playing for United would only make him better considering he'd have World Class strikers to feed.

Who will guarantee that Bale won't flop at United? What about Young, if there is one player who is proven in Premiership then it's him, and still he is flopping big time so far, he is nowhere near United quality judging by his performances for us.
Berbatov was also proven in Premiership, and eventough I'm big fan of Berba, he never justified his price, and yet Bale is even more expensive then those two.
"he isn't proven in Premiership" argument was proven wrong lots of times, La Liga isn't poor league by any means, and Isco is also doing very good in champions league too.

Even if we wanted him, I doubt we'd be able to agree a price. Spurs love rinsing every penny from us - so they'll be looking for at least £40 million. I personally believe he's worth that sum in this current market - but nevertheless, I don't think the club would be tempted if that was the price being asked.
Give me Isco and I'll be content![]()

Agree that when he comes centrally he's not effective unless he's shooting. He doesnt have the tight dribbling and ball control needed to make his way through that congested area. As for him on our left... Could be really good but would without a doubt make Evra far less effective. And if all you're getting from Evra is defending then... I dont know. Is that a great option anymore?
If having Bale dominating the left meant Evra actually stayed in his positon of left back, then I don't doubt that Evra would defend well.
I think Bale is a decent player, but I wouldn't want us to sign him. We are predictable enough as it is without adding a touchline winger. We have other priorities to see to before 30+ million is splashed on another winger.
How are these players comparable? Bale is clearly a far more talented player than Young ever was, anyone could see that. We all knew we were getting a decent squad player when we bought Young, nobody expected great things, except SAF by the looks of things.
With Bale he would give us what we are lacking someone who would get to the byeline he would give us better balance. Not saying we should get him but I do understand why people want him. Think we need to concentrate on the midfield and add at left back more. Even if we lose Nani then we still have options on the left.

That's not true, most of people here saw him as a long-term first choice winger in the club. eventually rotating with Nani and Valencia.
barca will (and have) smashed us even if our wingers on our top form.
If we buy bale, he'll be a 40 million quid left back if pep takes over in the future.
