Bassong has done well for Norwich so far this season, maybe back to the class he showed at Newcastle?

Ugh. Why is Norwich V Sunderland on "Super" Sunday. Sunderland should never ever be on TV.

O Neill, the most overrated manager around.

He earned a great reputation because he did great to good jobs with Wycome, Leicester, Celtic and Villa.

His Villa side was easily the strongest Villa over the last 10 years.

Having a bad time so far this season, but he is more than capable of turning it around especially if he has a few quid to spend in jan.

I've never rated him, ever.

His work has been overrated.

A limited manager at best. His obsession with paying over the odds for British players must be infuriating. Even at Villa he spent tons of money on workman like players such as Milner and Downing.

This is pretty much the only real miserable spell I can recall for O'Neill

He spent a fortune with Villa without ever doing a great deal. I think he gets off light when you look at some of the unfair criticism levelled at other managers.

Thats the one thing that would make me livid were I a Villa fan. He actually builds his sides similar to the way Pulis does, to beat other teams into submission.

Sunderland pull one back just before HT, there is still hope for MON.
