instead of roads i should have said foothpaths which is often the problem for these games. i think considering the tv commitments, travel inconveniences and the simple fact that a game of this level simply should never be called off because of some snow and ice the club has a responsibility to make their stadium accessible.
i cant remember the exact stat but the weekend we were cancelled vs chelsea and about 20 more games in uk were too, there was one game cancelled in germany in arguably worse conditions and that was something like a third division game. theres no excuses for it, thats just my opinion though.
I see what you mean, but how far does a club take gritting , do they just do near the ground or do they got to all the rail /tube stations.
When you grit at home,I bet you only grit you path and maybe the footpath out side you house, you dont grit that whole street.
All down to the local council and again down to money, they wont have money to grit everywhere.
