The snow around here has definitely gotten thicker and heavier in the passed half an hour. They really can't cancel this though with everyone already having travelled, it'd be a joke.

If it turns into a safety risk they will do it and it won't be the first time a football match has been cancelled an hour before the game. The snow around here has definitely gotten thicker and heavier in the passed half an hour. in this country the Heath and safety nuts will always win over simple common sense, when I was a kids, buses run, schools stayed open and the country did not grind to a stand still.
Yeah, the odd kid broke their neck, but so what?

they are probably also considering the duration of the game and what the conditions will be like at the end when thousands of people are leaving the stadium.
Its not snowing heavily though and its meant to ease off as the day goes on I thought.
Is it time to blame Giggs and Fergie yet? I'd bet Nani has something to do with this too.

Doesn't look great as per that.Possible to delay this till the night or something?
Point is we've known this for weeks but they'll suddenly decide, Oh look it's getting dangerous to walk around....fecking joke!
any locals with a weather update?
The snow looks in for the day, I have no idea why we leave decisions like this so late.
well..the pigeon's be sitting still on the branches of trees with heads hunched sunken heads - means ther a storm acoming...
I live in Enfield (about 15-20mins away from White Hart Line) and it is not looking good if I'm being honest. The snow has got much thicker and it doesn't look like stopping anytime soon.
The main road (Hertford) which goes all the way to the stadium doesn't seem too bad at the moment though as the council laid loads of salt down last night. It is just all of the side roads in the area which have been left untouched that may cause serious problems for people trying to get to the game.
I think basically because no matter how many millions the met office spend on their computers they constantly get it wrong. So a lot is left to chance..

i dont understand saying the uk shouldnt be as prepared as other countries get more snow. 3 or 4 years in a row now theres been snow which has had the usual front page headlines of a nation at a standstill, travel chaos etc etc etc....of course they should be as well prepared
