What a nightmare of a post.![]()
It would be interesting what does he think about those fans booing him recently?
It's ridiculous how football fans can be idiots, and how easily they forget how much he meant to us over last two or three seasons(not counting this season of course).
Valencia is having mare of season, and yet they boo Nani who struggled with that injury this season and even after good game can't get start in next game, and still probably did more than Valencia did for whole season so far.
Also, the 'boo's' or the 'groans' were manifested from Nani's continuous desire to get the ball and completely slow down play by standing still and allow the opposition to defend in numbers.
Farbeit for me to say such a thing again..I mentioned it previously and was labelled a fella who 'obviously knew nothing about football' by a resident genius.
Your opinion is just as valid as anybody else's mate. Don't let any poster take that away from you.
Differing opinions is what makes football so unique.
Clearly. I mean what could possibly give anybody the thought that Nani is anything but a future United HOF'r?
Sure he has unlimited amounts of potential and can beat any man he wants, when he wants (can't you remember the great cashley slaying of 1427?), added to the fact that his thought process in the final third is just unparalleled with anything in Europe. How could I possibly write this shite? We do have the best wingers in Europe aftetall right? Rivalled only by Munich apparently cuz Di Maria is shite ya?
Nani is fit and was nowhere to be seen during the biggest game of our season. The manager would rather install his faith in Mr Giggs (don't get me wrong..giggsy is playing great but how can an apparent superstar who makes us a better team be consistently overlooked and replaced by a man who is nearing 40?).
I know the fanboi's will label this as tripe as the poet above has done, but, whether or not you want to admit it...he is playing for a contract and doing sweet feck all to justify it. He is a winger who can nail 1/10 crosses and is more likely to find the 2nd tier with a shot than score 90% of the time. I wish he could fullfil his potentialand justify all of the praise that I have previously done and ye continue to do. Its just fecking eembarrassing to continuously praise a player for underperforming and then take the mic outta RAWK and co.
I've said it before and I will say again..I can not wait for young Zaha to get his opportunity to shine.

It was a tactical decision from the manager and anybody who has a notion about the game would know why Nani wouldn't have suited the way we wanted to go about our business that night. Nani would have been rightfully disappointed, but I'd bet my house that he'll feature in the 2nd leg.
Cleverly has been a big part of our squad this season and wasn't used in 'the biggest game so far'. Would you say that he's on his way out?
'the biggest game so far'
While you take an eternity to respond....
Why attempt to belittle every little thing here? Have I really ruffled your feathers so much by stating the blatently obvious about Nani that you feel the necessity to highlight the above also?
Ferguson is obsessed with the CL. This was absolutely his biggest game so far.
I didn't belittle anything.
I agree that it was our biggest game of the season so far, but highlighted that a player that has featured far more than Nani wasn't used either. By you're logic, Cleverly is also no longer part of SAF's plans.
By my logic eh? I am discussing a continuous inconsistency from a long time senior player who was not even the squad for the game. You brought up tactics right? Kagawa for Cleverley or Jones for Cleverley was 100% tactical - whichever one of the two you wanna analyze.
Please explain the tactical genius in leaving Nani out of the squad entirely.
Tactical genius?
The subs that we did make were hardly attacking. Giggs was brought on for his experience in seeing out big games and he is obviously in good form. Valencia was brought on for his defensive work-rate as a winger. As for Anderson, he was needed game time and offered some energy in the middle of the park in the closing minutes.
Nani wouldn't have been used even if he was there and SAF clearly felt that he had enough options that fitted his game plan.
Absolute tripe. You and how many others were salvating at the prospect of Nani playing Madrid because it was the perfect opportunity for him to exploit additional time on the ball and utilize his much improved defensive play.
Giggs was brought on for his experience? Nani aint supposed to be experience at this stage?
Valencia for his defensive work as a winger? I thought Nani had been working on such and was much improved? That coupled with the monumental praise heaped on Nani in comparison to Tony, surely puts him ahead in the pecking order?
Furthermore, you have once again ignored my actual question. What was tactical reasoning behind leaving Nani out in the first place?
I have argued so many points to you and you are choosing to ignore so many. For a guy who attempted to belittle my first post yesterday, you ain't doing much to back it up.
There's no doubt in my mind that Giggsy was brought on to see the match out. His experience/calmness is on another level to Nani, weird to argue otherwise. He's also been in very good form of late so it was hardly surprising.
Nani putting in work on the defensive side of his game and him being much improved in the aspect doesnt automatically make him better defensively than Valencia who's perhaps the best in the league at shielding his FB. He was brought on to keep the ball and help Rafael, he's better at both than Nani.

He was booed a lot recently, don't know how you missed it.
You accuse me of 'belittling' you're first post, yet you then go on to call mine 'absolute tripe' when I've clearly explained why I believe that Nani was left out?
I've nothing else to say to you and don't send me another PM calling me names. Take a chill pill mate.
Cleverley was on the bench
And he's just breaking into the first team. Nani is meant to be one of our senior players. To not even travel cannot be good news for him however you spin it.
"He's injured," Ferguson told manutd.com. "His contract's not up for a year and a half. Yes, absolutely [he has a future at the club]. Why would I want to let him go? Obviously his people have been negotiating with [chief executive] David [Gill] about a new contract but I don't know what stage we are at with that. But we won't be letting him go.
"We need a Nani. He offers something different from the other players. He's an incredible talent, the boy's a great talent. Unfortunately, he's injured at the moment so we sent him over to Dubai for a break and hoping a bit of warmth will help him in his recovery. He's not far away but he's far enough away. I don't think I'll get him back until probably the middle of January.
"It's a hamstring injury he's got. A player like Nani has never had a hamstring injury ever – I don't think he's ever had many injuries with us. But he's got it right in the top and it's a bad one."
He did travel. Everyone except Scholes did.
As long as Fergie remembers the truth of his own words then all should be well."We need a Nani. He offers something different from the other players.
