Benitez to Chelsea Discussion & Sack watch

We wouldnt be stupid enough to hire him in the first place. One he just sucks and second he managed one of your main rivals. Why would you want him in the first place? I still fathom that.

No-one can Fathom it. I think the(retarded) idea behind it was ' we have gone out of the group stages in the CL and are having a bad patch and Rafa was once for some reason known only to Jose and the four lords of the universe, labelled a tactician (shudders). They probably thought as I'm sure you guys did that when the results came we would forget about it and suddenly love him.

Fat chance!

He's moaning about being called "interim" manager, but wouldn't he have been told that was his job title before he took the job?

There has to be some method to his madness. The FA Cup tie at Old Trafford was going to be a battle between Chelsea supporters and our own to see who could break him first.

He's already broken now. He'll be safely out of the country by then too.

He's moaning about being called "interim" manager, but wouldn't he have been told that was his job title before he took the job?

Yeah, that's delusional. Perhaps it's more to do with him being thoroughly hated by Chelsea fans? Maybe, just maybe.

We dislike him immensely. But I'm not sure the heart should rule...when the chances are it may affect the whole club. Truth is Roman made a massive mistake, and that's where your displeasure should've been aimed at.

And it is, a lot of the fans ire has gone in that direction but obviously he is our owner and put a lot of his own time and effort so we have to be respectful to some degree, the banners ' Roman this is our club too' are the best thing really in that sense.

We would like to have said these things to Rafa anyway because of his past, but since hes manager hes exposed to it in the most grotesque way possible.

It's been a pretty expected reaction from the chelsea fans tbh. They didn't want Di Matteo sacked and they surely didn't want him appointed with the history. He slagged them off at the beginning too and never tried to win them over plus the results haven't helped one bit.

They can't boo the owners because they are caught between a rock and a hard place. Roman has made them go up a notch from a precarious situation.

He doesn't owe them anything, I would walk and watch them nosedive.

Were in shit form anyway what exactly counts as a nosedive lol?

Apparently according to some RDM didnt do a lot last season after AVB was sacked but managed to get where he did, so we would always have no manager and let Terry and Lampard direct the team

It's a hilarious situation this. He probably wants to get sacked so he can get a payoff, the fans want him sacked but he doesn't get sacked by Roman.

It's hilarious. He probably does want a payoff actually and wouldn't mind the sack. It's utterly shambolic that you've now got a scapegoat in place who may be baiting the board into trying to sack him.

I sometimes find it annoying when people go on their high horses here and look down on the way City and Chelsea are run, but Chelsea really are ridiculously shambolic. An absolute embarrassment the way the board run them and a lot of fans just won't go against Abramovic since he's the money man.

A few months ago they seemed indifferent to Di Matteo's appointment. A group heckled Di Matteo at half time against Wigan last season and over the draw against Fulham the following game. Fact is, they boo when they want.

I just laugh when they express contempt with whoever Roman appoints yet blindly bask in glory when the team win trophies, funded by his money.

A notch is putting it mildly. He's taken that club and made it one of the biggest, most recognisable in the world.

Your not in a bad positon at the moment, you will finish in the top four with Rafa and could win two trophies. RDM might have won you the CL but his league form for the last 10 games was poor and I see this happening again if Rafa leaves.

Rafa knew exactly what he was getting into when he accepted that job, first of all no top manager with any self respect would've accepted that interim role but he did and now he's moaning about the title, why? did they point a gun to his head to take the job?

He knew the fans would hate him and not just because they liked RDM but because the moron has spoken badly about them before, again what did he expect?

If you agree to be someone's whore for a quick payday don't complain about getting fecked, it's that simple.

Yeah, that's delusional. Perhaps it's more to do with him being thoroughly hated by Chelsea fans? Maybe, just maybe.

I rather think hes sinking rapidly in the job, and make no mistake, even winning today they were not good.

Maybe United at Old Trafford just isnt appealing to him and he wants out, plus, as I've mentioned before, he has fallen out with the board at every single club he has ever managed, he has to start now to keep up the tradition, hes running out of matches to put it off to long.

Abramovic is a fecking genius.

He made a rash, stupid decision in sacking Di Matteo and before the Chelsea fans can turn on him for sacking someone who won them the Champions League and did alot for them as a player, he hires a clueless Benitez to transfer the fans anger from himself to this fat unwitting patsy. There's a reason why this man is a billionaire.

Time and effort?

You forgot the other small matter.... millions. That's why you all shut up about him when he makes managers play his pet players and sacks them every 5 minutes.

He's moaning about being called "interim" manager, but wouldn't he have been told that was his job title before he took the job?

Of course he would.

He has been more than happy to take responsibility for his imagined improvements. He's saying we're playing better, scoring more goals, conceding less goals and that he has improved certain players. He's happy to bathe in the glory of these trumped up improvements.

What he won't take responsibility is falling 15 points behind in the league, losing the World Club Cup, losing the League Cup to Swansea and playing some of the most turgic, uninspired football I have seen in years. Just like at Inter when it was Moratti and Mourinho. Just like at Liverpool when it was Hicks and Gilette. Now its interim titles, the fans, injuries, fixture pile ups - you name it. But not Rafael Benitez.

This is the 3rd time in 5 years you've run a successful side into the ground. You can take the man out of Liverpool, but you can't take the Liverpool out of the man. Always the victim, it's never your fault.

Some degree? He's the only reason you'll have won any of your PL trophies in the last 8 years and the only reason you'll are European Champions right now.

I know this was a tongue in cheek post, but it actually makes sense

Other than the scousers, I can't think of any team fans who would welcome him as the manager, he's a fecked up and angry character.
