Our home kit is red shirt-white shorts, so I don't see reason for us to wear black shorts.

But I understand them, difference between shirt colours are more than enough

Can't see why we can't start with the same side with Clev for Jones and possibly Vidic at centre back.

I'd happily have the same front four as the away leg. Welbeck deserves to play after the first leg and Kagawa should not be dropped after the weekend.
 
Why anyone ever designs a green kit, I'll never know. It seems an obviously stupid colour to play in on grass.

So nervous at the moment that every talking point seems destined to become the reason for us losing. I'm now picturing Ronaldo belly-crawling, camouflaged, into our box before popping up to score an unmarked header.

Having a discussion with my mate and I'm confused about away goals.

If it finishes 1-1, it obviously goes to ET but if both sides score in ET and it finishes 2-2 on the night, do Madrid go through on away goals or is it a penalty shoot-out?

I was very happy with the result in Madrid, and the away goal.

But now I just cant shift that feeling that we're gonna really regret not getting a second, especially considering the chances we passed up.
 
Hopefully the ref is a homer again :)

I'd prefer DDG in goal rather than loitering around the corner flag?
 
The last time Madrid wore that Kermit style kit, they lost to Malaga.
 
Anyone else worried that Giggs might start? He was fantastic as a sub, but he should stay a sub. He's just too old to start against Madrid.
 
Think Madrid should be penalised for wearing green. Imagine if there are people there wanting to see Ronaldo in white. Their pics will be ruined :(
 
I was pretty good until now, but now the emotions are here. While I think that we have a good chance of going through, I can't help but being nervous.

As long as he's either on the left or in front of both Carrick and Cleverley then I'm fine with Giggs starting, though we're probably better off starting Kagawa or Welbeck then bringing him on.

I wouldn't "worry" is Giggs were to start, but I wouldn't recommend starting him over Cleverley in central midfield or over Nani or Welbeck out wide.

We'll see Giggs come on late to protect lead and secure glorious victory, to put it in language Spartacus, Gannicus and Crixus would use.

Would prefere Valencia to Nani just for workrate and cover for RB for this one.
 
Why the feck should we cater to them if we're at home?

feck them and their white kits. We're at home and we should be able to do what we want.

With you there. I think he'd be excellent coming on around 70 minutes, in any of a variety of positions. But whilst he can still do the impressive things well, he no longer does the bread and butter consistently enough to be a good choice to start. Especially not in CM. His defensive positioning is basically non-existent these days.

Cleverley should unquestionably be ahead of him for CM, and Welbeck, Kagawa or Nani all ahead of him on the wing. So for me starting him would be sentimental not sensible.

Why would there be a problem with them wearing their all white kits and us wearing our red, white, black kits?
