SAF mentioned something yesterday about players like Hernandez and Nani being involved in the remaining games so they feel they've played a real part or something.
"Two of the players played with an injury throughout the [Villa] game," Sir Alex told MUTV. "Jonny Evans and Michael Carrick. Next week, I should have Vida and Rio back and I can put Jones into the middle of the pitch and play Vida and Rio together and we'll get the experience going to Arsenal.
"A lot of younger players, the ones who have been on the fringes for the last few weeks, and I desperately want them to feel their contribution has been big. Chicharito, Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley and Nani - I think it's important to get them involved in the last few weeks."
As for the older heads, they still have a part to play as the Reds conclude a successful campaign with Sir Alex already looking towards next term. "Giggs and Rio, the old codgers, can still carry on!" declared the manager. "Hopefully, we will have Paul Scholes fit in the next couple of weeks because he deserves to play in the last few games.
"Ryan is struggling isn't he? He's unbelievable with his energy. He's a freak - a unique freak! I tell you he can play for another two years, trust me."
How old is that quote? Good to see Nani mentioned, I don't want him to go...
I reckon there'll be some really awkward semi-applause from our players as the sides come out, and that's it.
I mean, it really is essentially like making the apostles applaud Judas on a job well done.
That said, we all know how that story panned out. We will rise again.
Firstly, what was the luck?
Secondly, considering all the luck we've had go against us in our fixtures over the past few years.....
To be fair, he hasn't got thirty pieces of silverware yet, just the one. Give it a couple of seasons at least.
And yeah, this is RAWK-lit. Although the metaphor needs to be more mixed. Add 'like a phoenix from the flames' on the end.
they will play out of their skins....to show us losing RVP means nothing.
hope we don't weaken our side too much trying to give the 'fringers' a game.

Didn't we get denied an absolute stonewaller at WHL in about the 80th minute?
I want Arsenal to really earn the 3 points, could have massive implications for the race for 4th place.
We will win 3-0 and RvP will score 2 goals.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will rotate squad against Arsenal
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will shuffle his pack when he takes the newly crowned Premier League champions to Arsenal on Sunday.
Ferguson revealed Jonny Evans and Michael Carrick both played with injuries in Monday's 3-0 victory over Aston Villa, as United clinched their 20th top-flight title.
Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic are poised to return at the heart of the defence, while Javier Hernandez, Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley and Nani may also feature at Emirates Stadium.
Looking back on the title win, Ferguson said: "Two of the players played with an injury throughout the game. Jonny Evans and Michael Carrick.

I'm not watching the poorest league champions since 1962 being wanked off - feck that for a game of soldiers.
