I'm sure Adnan will stay and it'll be a bit of a two fingers up at those clubs trying to steal our youngsters again.
How do you pronounce his name?
Don't start this again...
How do you pronounce his name?
More like Yan ooo Zay.
Well, if you can spell the bold letters exactly as they are spelled on the words I mentioned it's definitely the correct spelling. From what I have heard of commentators they are wrong.
So you're saying that all the commentators are saying it wrong and you're pronouncing it right? Because the way you've just pronounced it, I've never heard it said like that.
Exactly. Commentators spell it like Yae-nu-zaey which is wrong. By ae I mean the weird punctuation symbol.
But even Fergie calls him that, except he says it jan rather than Yan. How are you sure they've all got it wrong? The last thing I want to do is be used to saying his name wrong.
I am from the same country as him and the 'Januzaj' surname is pretty common here.
From the article. Hopefully that means he has signed a new contract. Two days before Ferguson announced his retirement, Januzaj played in the first Barclays U21 Premier League final against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, starring in a side which came from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Januzaj is slight, but he won headers against a much bigger opponent, Spurs’ captain Grant Hall, in his role as a lone striker. It’s his technique, his eye for a forward pass which sets him apart and the Catalan interest made United improve the terms for a player they signed from Anderlecht two years ago.

There are issues with his contract too? WTF are we doing at youth level.
So it's Ya-Noo-Zai?
Possibly the thing I'm looking to the most is seeing Januzaj on the preseason tour.
Agreed. It's a beautiful accident that Valencia, Young and Nani are all staying at home, and Kagawa won't be there at first. Means Zaha, Januzaj and Lingard will all get some serious playing time, rather than having to steal a few minutes here and there or be crammed into unfamiliar positions.
That's the drawback of having a huge squad. Even when the youth players get a chance in the league cup or fa cup they are usually playing out of position. Can't wait to see him play with the senior team
It's such a huge jump between the U21s and the first team, I'm keeping my expectations low. If he can handle the speed of the offense and not look out of place I'll be delighted.
What's his best position then lads? I've heard a few conflicting things. Is he another that likes this fashionable #10 role?

Definitely looks to have bulked up a bit. Will be fantastic to see him have a good tour and hopefully have a few cameo appearances during the season.
