Moyes won't sign the players we want, won't pick the side we want. Who the feck picked him as manager?

Forgot how good that Rafael goal was last season. I miss him...

Slightly confused how Ashley Young puts 1 cross in to the box on Monday and that's enough to justify starting him ahead of a wraft of clearly more talented players who can't exactly be any less match fit?

It's the effect of having seen him play so shit for so long.

Strange stuff. Kagawa isn't even fit enough for the bench? So our main attacking threat is Giggs and young. Liverpool's doesn't so far behind ours when Rooney, kagawa and nani all are absent together.

Yeah big miss, getting better and better defensively and always a good attacking threat. We've been really struck down with missing our most creative players in their relative positions.

Don't like the line up at all, hopefully we still manage to get 3 points but I feel less confident now.

I hate this fixture. It's been years since we put a decent performance there. Thankfully it will be over in 2h to give me some rest until next season.

I really hope Rvp isn't isolate up top again, but I can see it happening. Welbeck, Giggs and young behind isn't really the greatest of quality. Wish one of kagawa or nani would play, especially given Rooney is out. Hopefully those three click .

Fired up now. Bedded in the living room. Mrs has just rattled on to me for the last 20 minutes for some reason to my vacant responses of 'mm.. yeah.. Uhuh.. mmm .mmm..' Not having a clue what shes been going on about. No doubt i'll fail the quiz at a later time on what she was shitting on about.

But shes shut up now so IT'S feckING ON. COME ON UNITED

Rodgers sounds liked he's had a stroke.

More that happy when I saw that team , but disappointed when I saw the real team.

Aye, after seeing that fake line up I have to admit to being disappointed when I seen the real one. Oh well, we'll still smash em.

I hope we can stand up to Liverpool's pressing today. We aren't the best when fired up teams swarm all over us. Retaining possession is so crucial and carrying a threat up front. Welbeck, Young and Giggs need to give Van Persie good support.

I'm fairly confident we're going to twat these cnuts. Moyes is setting up the team a bit tighter and pressing a bit higher, and these bastards have no plan B to their "let's pretend to be Barca" crap. Welbeck in particular will hassle them, Srktel should've been sent off at Old Trafford for a last man foul on him.

Young is getting slated but he's actually an asset on the counter attack against big teams, in particular doing well vs City at the Etihad last season and he tracks back well.

Sturridge pulled up in the warm up,hope he's out,he'll be a danger.

Carragher saying Sturridge should start ahead of Welbeck for England. That's Welbeck who got MotM in the warmup friendly...

Not sure the side we've picked is suitable to deal with heavy pressing. Well probably sit deep and try to hit them on the counter.

Does Giggs still maintain his achievement of scoring in every Premier League season? Can't remember if he scored in this one that passed.

Souness is brilliant. Essentially expressed love for Danny and says he looks a decent person and player. Questions sturridge as a person and wonders why he's taken so long to look a decent player.

While Souness is making decent points, I think it's a little unfair in regards to Sturridge. He did it at Bolton when he was sent out on loan and got the chance and he's doing it now for Liverpool, Souness seems to be ignoring the fact that Sturridge was solid by two teams that were already overloaded with top quality strikers.
