feck OFF YOU HOMER feckING feckNUT. The reffing hasn't be appauling, but he gives Liverpool the same fouls, that he hasn't been giving us. Its ridiculous.

We have only ourselves to blame but that ref has bought everything today

How in the hell was that a freekick? I swear, if a player goes down holding the ball, the referee has no choice but to give the freekick.

At least we've got competition for places to show some of these players that performances like this won't be tolerated...

It hasn't really been that bad an Anfield performance really, not in the second half.

It is said City couldn't challenge for the league last season because they failed to improve on their squad. Well guess what, today's game has showed that not improving the squad is beginning to cost us. Moyes' starting lineup also showed his relative inexperience with a big team. He must adapt really fast.

Despite the fact Fergie started similar lineups for years upon years? Did SAF not have the experience either?

Stop talking showers of shit and embarrassing yourself.

Frustrating game. Pleased with the effort second half but we are really lacking a cutting edge

Genuinely feel like we've been upset by some mid table twats like Stoke or something who just happened to be up for it at kick off. Liverpool have been non existent all second half feck sake

feck off marriner you fecking total wanker. Bastard.

Biggest thing for me is that the only chances Van Persie has had have been made by Hernandez who apparently has no build up play. Makes you wonder what Welbeck, Young and Giggs were upto.

Awful refereeing.

Agreed. The starting line-up was something you would of have expected from Fergie too.

The first half was as bad as we were against Ajax and Bilbao (not that Liverpool were anything special, kinda like Ajax). Giggs was a complete liability and some others were dreadful, but Moyes needs to shoulder all the blame. His team selection was defensive and unbalanced. The team looked frightened from the whistle though we did shape up in the 2nd half. Does Moyes breed confidence and belief? He really really needs to.

I dont buy into him having loads of time to prove himself. We all want stability but he inherited a top class team and he needs to show that

Look at those pool fans, during the 90 minutes they are united but when the match is over they will steel each others hubcaps

And that's all folks! 1-0. Bobbins. Pissed off we didn't smash such a shite Liverpool team, but as expected, they played this as their cup final.

How was that a foul? Whoever it was backed into Cleverley so much he fell over.

They have. Soaked the pressure, tried to hit us on the break. Had a chance and took it.

Had the referee. Have had endless free kicks for nothing. Have parked the bus. Have been classless cnuts as usual. Unfortunately, we left it too late to start playing - that doesn't add up to this mediocre shower deserving it.
