CL Group Stage, Matchday 1

Only 1-2 now for Dortmund. Remember Malaga lads. Go.Go.GO!

The Ironic thing is I almost always lay us so that whatever happens I am happy, but for once I was so confident we wouldnt lose I laid Basel, I am going to lose a lot :(

boos and earlier a picture of two idiots with a sign "mata belongs on the field jose, not the bench"

pathetic bunch. 11 managers in a row bood now?

The Special One. Apparently.

Oh feck off, making out as though they are putting a load of kids out. Kids that have hundreds of games under their belt and are internationals costing £20m odd.

There we go, I hate to say it but at present its looking like we should have kept Rafa. He has got consistency into our team at the end there and played Mata! Instead we are relying on relic and useless strikers.

What makes me laugh is Jose was going on about Rafa winning the EL being nothing to shout about because its a failure in Europe. Last time I checked he didnt lose at home to Basel!

Kinda puts our result against Chelsea in perspective. We should have attacked them more.

The bizarre thing is they outplayed Chelsea last year two and have always looked a level above them technically yet somehow they were seen as walkovers.

Certainly a decent underdog team - they're 'dangerous' to say the least. I fancy them to fight for 2nd in their group if they can get something against Schalke.

I'd say Neil Lennon will be fairly pissed off after that. Celtic probably went out thinking a draw would be a good result, then as the game panned out said there's 3 points for the taking here but in the space of 3 or 4 minutes it all went belly up for them. AC Milan looked piss poor though, I know they have a fair few injuries but you'd be expecting better from them, Celtic had them on the ropes a few times there tonight.

It's going to take a while for this Milan squad to compete with the big boys again. They're capable of the occasional shock, ala Barcelona last season, but they can't sustain good form in the league or cause enough trouble in Europe to be able to win something.

Remember 2011?? Basel has got something in them and only their own "weaker" league keeps them in the shadows of the big European teams..
