Manchester City vs. Manchester United

Enough squabbling, someone post the actual bench for rucks sake

I'm honestly more upset about Young starting, than RvP being out.

What's with all the Young critics? Do any of you actually watch United play? Young hasn't been bad at all when he's played recently.

Nani had absolutely no chance of starting this match the minute Moyes left him out of the squad against Crystal Palace, he needs game time and he couldn't get it in the CL so why he played no part in that game is a total mystery. Personally, with RVP out, I thought today may have been a good chance to play Kagawa where he excelled for Dortmund, behind Rooney, and stick Welbeck on the left, hopefully Young performs.

I swear you'd think Fergie was still picking the team with those lineups. Can't remember the last time I saw a line-up and thought "feck yes". There's always this one or two uninspiring players who are in the starting team.

Damn Fergie never knew how to pick a good side

Just saw the news about RvP flash up on Sky. :(

Rooney, Welbeck, Valencia and Young is very much a work over creativity line up, was hoping with both defensive wingers playing Kagawa might have started up top with Rooney.

Nani and Kagawa on the bench, at least. If things go tits up and we can't get the 0-0 draw we came for, at least we have some creative spark among the subs.

Real shame about Van Persie though but it was bound to happen eventually, the man has been fit for almost two years now.

Young deserves to be picked ahead of Nani, mainly because Nani has been out with injury and has had only 30 minutes against the Scouse. Also Young has been in decent form over the last one and a half match.
Meh, you pick your best players regardless.

First Prem game he's missed since the end of the 2010-2011 season then surely? fecking unbelievable, today of all days. fecking cursed.

Subs

Amos, Buttner, Evans, Cleverley, Kagawa, Nani, Chicharito

Really need Valencia and Young to up their games today. No RVP means we've lost our main player able to score a goal out of nothing. Welbeck will add good defensive strength but he's not very creative. Certainly think the team picked is capable of winning but at the same time I think one of Kagawa or Nani could have played in RVPs absence to make up in attack, still lots of pace for counter attacks in the team.

RVP is a big loss, fecking injuries

Would've preferred Kagawa over Young, but Young is better defensively. Hopefully Valencia plays like he did in the CL or we may struggle to create chances.

Btw, is Lindegaard injured? Just out of curiosity, I haven't heard anything about him recently or may have skipped over some info somewhere.

Welbeck and Rooney have been in good scoring form, so hopefully they will continue to lead the line today.

Strongest possible eleven bar Rafael and RvP, I'm content.

Moyes gone negative again in a big game. Typical no wonder his record is poor against the top sides.

Young starting is just awful.

Really need Valencia to step up again today, hopefully he won't revert back to his pre-2nd half against Bayer L.

Meh the RvP news has put a massive downer on the game. I feel with Hernandez, Kagawa and Nani on the bench though we have some good options.

Young with a curler into the top right corner? Comee unn!

It's a good team stop overreacting.
With game changers on the bench.

I'm confident. Young showed the other night (and several times in the past) that he suits the counter attack.

Wait, people actually thought Nani would start? I thought it was bad enough expecting Kagawa to start...

Good line-up, enough to get the win here.

Seriously? Because City are that easy to beat at home? Rooney needs to have a wonder game because I don't see any of the other 3 capable of scoring.
