Up till now I've yet to see what can he offer to the team.
That part where he jogged behind the wba player on our right whilst jones tried hard to rob him was hilarious
That and the incident when he decided to suddenly leave his man and start running forward when one of our CBs was competing for an aerial ball which subsequently fell to the man fellaini was previously marking who blasted wide. Insanely poor play on both occasions.
Dunno why he came on. It's not like we decided to lump up the ball to him either. He just came on and did feck all
Because we needed to replace one midfielder that can't track runners with another?
For all the good he did it might as well have been Welbeck to replace Anderson
As shite as I think he is, today was hardly his fault, was it?
With Rooney in midfield?
I don't see any urgency from him to get the ball back. He was jogging last week, whilst the City players were running past him.
Carrick was poor today too, but Felliani made us took away what Anderson did provide on the attack without offering any solidity.
We got lucky with Baines but Felliani could well be on his way to being 'Young II'
What did ye actually expect from Fellaini? He'll be decent once he settles in, but he was never going to be more than that. Ye've only yourselves to blame if you expected him to massively improve our team, it's an unfair expectation to place on him too.
He cost more than Yaya Toure or Silva. That creates a certain expectation.
Fellaini is a good player just not the kind of player we needed unless Moyes converts us into another Everton which by the way he is doing a mighty good job of at the moment.
Not his fault today, obviously, but he looks a really, really poor signing.
I agree with you, considering we also have three losses and have been playing shite. Oh wait...
It's funny really. We're so short in midfield that, despite paying £27m, we can't say that we'd be better off without him can we? I don't like him, but at the very least he's another squad option. If the transfer window was still open I'd say that he is hindering us, as he could be stopping us getting another midfielder, but at the moment we're stuck with what we've got.
He looks what he really is. A limited player that while is better than Cleverley/Anderson, isn't good enough to be a United player and don's solve any of our problems.
I've just decided I'm good enough to be a football manager. I can spot the talent if I see one. With Fellaini it was obvious from the beginning that will not improve us just offer some sort of a back up for Carrick.
I agree with you, considering we also have three losses and have been playing shite. Oh wait...
He meant Moyes' Everton, not your current manager's![]()
His passing isn't good enough to be back up for Carrick. For all the criticism Cleverley gets on this forum Fellaini's passing is even more safe.
You know it's bad when even Everton fans are taking the piss.
Well we were second top at this stage last season, a point ahead of you with one loss compared to two. You have one more loss than you had at this stage last season!
Yeah, I agree, although it's mainly been used by opposition fans like peterstorey to take the piss out of us.The Evertonisation comments just get on my nerves and should be infraction worthy for talking nonsense.
