If we dont wint against a Sunderland side that has never looked worse, I will be genuinely disappointed.

Sunderland will have something to prove,so won't be easy, 2-0 United.

I just want to see a positive performance. Bayer Leverkusen aside, we've produced absolute dross this season. It'd be easier to take the downturn in results if we could see clear signs of a change of style being instituted. But that's just not the case - we've just been plain negative.

Yup, it will be easy to see poor results if we are "transitioning". We're not. We are just stood still. Only Januzaj seems to be getting his chance. Don't care about the performance tonight though, just need to start getting some points on the board and with RVP injured and Rooney just returning from injury, would be very relieved to see this one through.

Look at Everton - they've completely transformed their style (while winning!). Here, it's been a case of no change of style, yet we're turning in dross. What style is the new coaching team trying to institute? We lack any sort of identity.

Everton are riding on a crest while we are down in the trenches currently. Don't think it's fair to compare right now. Agree with the lack of identity. International break couldn't have come at a better time as far as we are concerned. Will allow Moyes and co a bit of time to sort things out.

Sky are saying we have an almost full squad to choice from ?

David Moyes has an almost fully fit squad to choose from for the trip to Wearside.
The major injury doubt is over Rio Ferdinand, who picked up a groin injury in the defeat by West Brom and he did not make the midweek game at Shakhtar Donetsk.
Tom Cleverley is the only other doubt, as Anderson, Wilfried Zaha and Fabio could all return to the squad after being left out of the Ukraine trip.
Time will tell.

But what's the difference? Everton are basically experiencing exactly what we are, but just on a smaller scale in terms of club stature. The difference, as I see it, is that Martinez has instituted a new style very quickly, whereas we don't seem to have tried to do anything radically different. Tbf, we are the reigning champions, so maybe we don't need to reinvent the wheel. But, if no major changes have been made, why the massive downturn in performance? For me, a lot of big players are hiding.

The biggest difference between us and Everton is that they had an excellent transfer window.

Of course we are bloody transitioning. It's the biggest transition in the history of the club. Just because we aren't doing it very well, doesn't mean we aren't having to adapt a huge amount.

Hopefully we win this game of course but if we could just have some nice chances at their keeper that would be nice, a few nice moves. Not just cross, cross, cross, whack.

Of course we are transitioning, we have just changed managers. What I meant was in terms of squad. We continue to give important minutes to players who I don't see staying beyond the end of the season. Now this would be okay if those players were actually helping us get the results, but that is not the case, while simultaneously playing dour football.

If Nani doesn't start here I might just weep uncontrollably

If Rooney and van Persie are out, I'd love us to go with a front four of:

----Nani -------- Kagawa -------- Welbeck
Hernandez
You know that Young and Valencia are going to feature, though.
