How is that a Europa league side, our main side are playing worse than a Europa league side at the moment, rotation and freshness is required.

The problem with this game for Fellaini is the biggest problem I had with us signing him.
Whilst I think the type of player he is can be very useful his obvious lack of mobility is going to kill us in games where we would most want to use him most as a ball winner. Him and Carrick will get eaten alive, you fear.

Fellaini's lack of mobility wouldn't be too much of an issue if he had any sense of danger. It was amazing watching him jog around as Southampton won loose balls, and then seeing RVP and Rooney overlap him to defend, and essentially do his job. If he had better anticipation, he could be very useful for us. he's been a passenger so far.
Just bloody play kagawa ffs.

I'm in favor of dropping Rooney and giving Kagawa a few games in that position, to see what he is capable of. Welbeck to provide discipline on the left and link up with Kagawa/RVP. I'd like to see Fabio get some games, now that Evra has announced he is leaving at the end of the season.
I hope Kagawa, Hernandez and Fellaini play. No Young or Giggs, please.
