Manchester United vs. Liverpool

by the way, what are all hoping the result will be in the North London Derby?

Depends on our game. If we win, Spurs win all day long as we might have a chance to catch Arsenal (very slim, but still). If we lose, definitely Arsenal... just keep Liverpool away from winning that title.

Not confident but not sure why. I think we are turning a corner under Moyes but LFC just have everything going right for them this season. They have had a dream season for them and a result today will confirm it.
Be nice to see united lay some good attacking football, but every time I've asked for that we have served up some right dross.

Yeah, sounds about right I guess. My brother is a Spurs fan so I can't help but want them to lose a little bit.

If we win this match I'll be optimistic for the rest of our season. I could see us smashing Olympiakos at home and exploiting Demichelis in the derby. If we lose, the wind will be utterly knocked from our sails and there's no telling where we'll end up. Biggest game of the season by far.

Spurs win surely? That is if you lot have top 4 aspirations left (I don't think it'll happen).

Like others have said, I guess it depends on our result today.

You're a Liverpool fan, aren't you? What do you think the score will be (can't be bothered reading previous pages in case you've already said)?

Anyone else been nervous /on edge for the whole week because of this match? At first I was dreading it but the closer it gets the more excited i get. I just hope it's an open game with both teams going for it rather than a cagey affair. I'd much rather a 3-3 than a 0-0 draw.

Our form has been like a rollercoaster, so feck knows how we'll play today. Best thing to do is not have any expectations or be surprised by any result today, that way you wont hit rock bottom if the shit hits the fan.

Rodgers has already spewed a load of tosh before the game, its only a matter of time before it bites him back. Regardless of United missing out the Europe or not, we should not lose this game, its high time to kick the shite out of Scousers and end their little honey moon.

4th is gone no matter what, so for me the Olympiacos game are much more important, if you could only win one.

3-1 Liverpool.

You beating us wouldn't end our honeymoon.

Expect the unexpected.

I'm more nervous about the lineup than the match.

As long as young and Valencia start we'll be fine. I mean why change a winning formation!

COME ON UNITED! Don't know what to expect. Last beautiful day like this when we were playing the scousers was when Nani went off crying and Kuyt scored a hat trick. Hoping for a bit of a different scenario.

I think Januzaj will be dropped for Valencia and Fellaini dropped for Vidic and Jones will go to midfield.

So I should expect Young and Valencia not to start then?

It's been a surreal season, chief...

*launches into RAWK Mode*

Like the tectonic thingies moving beneath the revolving Earth's crust, the behemoth SAF's departure has made the world to go nuts; yay, like Leviathan bobbing along in the deepest ocean, his leaving has caused bloody massive stuff to happen in a looney-tunes manner. Note, if you will, the prospect of Brendan Envelopes - on the back of three-quarters of a good season - being touted as the manager of Barcelona - the most storied club since the last most storied club, or at least since journos used that phrase & a bunch of morons repeated it ad infinitum. Conclusive proof that everything's fecked up gone awry....

Liverpool starting line up: Mignolet; Flanagan, Škrtel, Agger, Johnson; Henderson, Gerrard, Allen; Sterling, Sturridge, Suárez.

Is the fixture list really random as I'm wondering why is it when there is a big game there is always more than one big game on that same weekend?

NLD and Manchester Utd-Liverpool. The blockbuster games always for some reason seem to fall on the same weekend or close together.

I think I would've started crying if that was the line up. Thank feck it's fake (I hope).
