You've managed to miss two games there, quite impressively.
The other, if you wondering:

Have a good feeling about this. I reckon we'll pop two or three past them.
Scholesy on the Sky panel?![]()
More sad than grand. We shouldn't just be spectators in the run in.It's grand approaching a game of this magnitude with no nerves, isn't it? The result means very little to us and the onus is on City to win, we can just kick back and try enjoy the game tonight.
It is sad, and far from ideal, but every cloud... The season is a write off, and has been since January.More sad than grand. We shouldn't just be spectators in the run in.

Bit off topic but didn't want too start a thread for this. Where's good too watch this in town which will be full on Reds? Bierkeller is for City fans tonight, Mulligans will be too full by the time I get in town and Norweigan Blue has a strict dress code I've been told.
No doubt he'll be flanked by 5 Scousers though to maintain the balance Sky appear to need in the studio.

Not so much, I'll be going home straight after the match, just meeting a few old faces who haven't been in Manchester for a while. It kicks off enough in my local boozers!I watched the 'Michael Owen' last minute winner game at the local to where my parents live (The High Grove near Gatley) and there was a fight in the car park afterwards. Not in town, obviously, but is that the sort of atmosphere you were after?
I'd be inclined to agree. I see City winning, and maybe even comfortably, tonight. Then again, I gave us no chance against the Greeks, so we shall see... I'm prepared to be pleasantly surprised.Yep, no real pressure tonight just pride to play for. I do think we will lose as it is what we've done all season. i.e. we put a few good results together and everyone thinks we've turned the corner only to be brought crashing back down to earth with a defeat. I see it happening again, I can smell the fecker in the air approaching. City need this, it's massive and I just think they've got too much for us.

Once Sky don't give it this Manchester tides are turning bollocks I can enjoy tonight relatively pressure free.
I don't think that's the situation we're in right now to be honest.I'm quite relaxed...mainly because I expect us to lose purely because of our record against the top sides this season and also because City are really going for the title now and have a great chance. It's so difficult. I want us to beat them and be wonderfully surprised, but there again......liverpool.....just no...no way can they be allowed to win that bloody title. It's like the choice of equally two hot women...what to do...what to think...
I was half-listening to the TV an hour or so, and they were talking about the players on each team... one of them - I think his name is Kilbane - said that Rooney was the only United player who would start at Manchester City. Then he started talking about a "power shift", comparing the teams from five years ago (2008-09).
He said that Kompany in 2008-09 would have started at United, he didn't specify whether he would start over Ferdinand or Vidic though. He also thought that Nigel De Jong could have started in midfield, with or ahead of Scholes and Carrick.
I just found it pretty odd, because Kompany had just moved to Manchester City in 2008, so he was pretty much an unknown quantity.
I don't think that's the situation we're in right now to be honest.
That is certainly the most baffling, for me.I read something this morning, linked from Twitter, where some blogger reckons NO United players would start for City.
I find it weird there are still people rating Hart above De Gea.

I actually laughed out loud when I read that, don't believe a word of it. But if it keeps their dirty paws off de Gea I'm all for it.even more so about the rumours that Real Madrid are after Hart!
It's weird, De Gea has been by far the best keeper in the league the last 2 seasons, and most fans who watch him recognize this. Most Chelsea fans admit he's passed Cech, who is the only one near him really. It's like the only people left who still rate Hart are English journo'sThat is certainly the most baffling, for me.
In fairness, I'm just reading through the BBC live thread and the vast majority of people are putting De Gea in the side, which is good to see. That is certainly the most baffling, for me.
I think it probably is. Hart is obviously a good 'keeper, he was probably the best in the league when they won the championship. But he's made an array of mistakes, he's even lost his place this season! In the meantime de Gea has genuinely blossomed into one of the top young player's in the world, let alone goalkeeper's.It's weird, De Gea has been by far the best keeper in the league the last 2 seasons, and most fans who watch him recognize this. 3-1 City.Predictions guys?
I heard Old Trafford is a good place to watch matches and is usually full of reds.Bit off topic but didn't want too start a thread for this. Every time I predict a win we lose or draw.Predictions guys?
