Liverpool

Looking ominous after today's result. Could be quite easy for them if they beat City. Big if, mind.

They do deserve it if we're going on what's happened on the field and not the awful poetry we're in danger of.

Bloody mods keep promoting us don't they. :p

You'll have to hope that we have a horrid season next year so that some of us do a Glaston and vanish.

Out of interest how many of us are there? B20, Saoirse, Barney, Sniper's Breath, Cheech Wizard, M'n'M, Shaded Tomato (?), Jonny Boy, Njred (?) and myself. Have I missed any?

too many

But temporarily Adrian dispossessed Flanagan. It's sheer luck that it bounced the way it did. If a player slides someone and gets the ball cleanly but the player tackled stays on his feet and comes out with ball it doesn't make the slide tackle a foul, even though the opponent remains with the ball.

It's a penalty, stop being so bitter and biased

Clear as day

He grabed his fecking leg ffs.

Bitter? Nothing against Liverpool.

Biased? Do you not see the irony here?

He didn't grab his leg, besides, Flanagan's movements were unaffected by what you think was a grab.

If they beat City next week, they'll win it, I think.

Of course, beating City is about the most difficult challenge they could face domestically. Big ask.

Why are there so many liverpool fans on this site all of a sudden? Im seeing names I haven't even seen before.

They are winning? Pretty simple.

In regards to the penalties issue, they certainly get a lot. Gerrard might make the top scorers at this rate. They deserved to win anyways today, West Ham's goal was a joke of a decision.

I think we'll win. Shades of the Chelsea game in the run up to Istanbul about this. The "best" team in the league is coming with a bit of a cocky attitude. Most expecting them to win.

I think they'll walk into an absolutely incredible atmosphere. Anfield will be as loud as it has been in years and that I think will overawe City. I think we'll win this one fairly easily, 3-1.

Most City fans on Bluemoon are saying that Garcia should and probably will start. This pleases me greatly.

I know it was a dive. Also me move on? Its you moaning about a decision that went against you 3 weeks ago. I don't actually care.

Who the heck is moaning? You kept banging on about how it was a "dubious" decision when it was as blatant a dive as one will see. You guys cry at the slightest hint of a decision going against you but are the first ones to try and defend the ones going for you. Even if they are as bad as the dive which Sturridge performed.

I don't think they will win it. City will know a point is okay for them, so the onus is one Liverpool. Much harder to win in those circumstances, but if they do then you can't say they don't deserve it. Meanwhile Chelsea are flying under the radar, but apart from the Liverpool trip they have an easy run in.
Just can't see them getting to 14 wins in a row. You run out of steam or luck at one point, it's just the way it is.

You pulled that one out of thin air didn't you?

If Liverpool do win the league. It will be the ONLY league title anywhere to have been won via a penalty shootout.

It seems the refs are finally buying into the media love-in that has followed them for the last 15 years.

So nothing to do with playing good attacking football then?
