Liverpool

Have you actually read any of my posts?

Yes but i don't know what the uproar is about. You want to get rid of a few more Liverpool posters not because they're breaking the rules or making silly posts, but simply because Liverpol are enjoying one of the few successful periods in the last 20 years and the fans are obviously happy about it?

Apparently i'm a parody of a Liverpool fan, because i believe Gerrard is better than Scholes and Coutinho better than Oscar?

But when i was calling De Gea the best keeper in the world, or defending Januzaj i wasn't a parody then?

It seems people would rather antagonize than actually make constructive posts.

Jesus Christ, the self pity is overwhelming.

This is United board and a good one. If the balance of oppo posters is not right the boards cease being home for discussion and become nothing but bickering. We want to be able to discuss Liverpool on a United forum without a horde of bias scousers turning it into a he said / she said farce.

I don't know about parody or where that came from but you are slightly hysterical and yet another scouser too idignant to see the actual point.

If you want to join a football forum where all posters are entitled to the same platform, pop off to the f365 forums and see how that format works out.

I'm trying to moderate the boards, and if that antagonizes your precious little soul I suggest you find somewhere else to post.

You're the one that seems to be have been a bit worked up here, but ok you're the mod, whatever you say.

Boo fecking hoo. Enjoy away, just not here, en masse. I have never felt the need to 'enjoy' any of our success by going to an oppo forum and rubbing people's noses in it.

that went over the scousers' heads.

EDIT: and they are so good at rewriting history.

The problem is there are a number of us older supporters here who have lived through and seen stuff...younger fans have not.

No, but being in the good books of the refs does not make one either!

I'd say influencing the ref to not give cards to your players and softening him to your stance on fouls etc is a part of leadership.

Not more than leading by example by putting your body on the line for the team.

Don't really have a problem with the Liverpool fans here. The forum isn't exactly crawling with them or anything, and most of them are level-headed with some decent banter. It's not as if they're running into all the Moyes threads and constantly reminding us they're top. People saying there's too many reeks of bitterness because we don't like opposition fans who are pleased at their sides success. If they actually deserve that ban, their fair enough, but if it's just because they support Liverpool, then it's a bit shit.

If that was the case we'd have none. I can't add anything to what I've said.

Agreed

If the admins of the site think there are too many scousers there is only one outcome and the more you bitch and moan the more likely you're volunteering yourself to be out the door. This is a United site and we only need a handful of oppo fans to keep it interesting. You are merely a guest at our party.

No, it's a Manchester United Forum and a balance is important. Don't for one minute think you are anything but a guest at a private party.

You are a few posts too late with your 'whatever you say'. This is just the sort of shite we don't need.

This is exactly how RAWK started.

Agreed. This forum has been very kind to wums like Peterstorey, I don't see a problem with the Liverpool supporters.

Yeah, but you were talking about keeping the balance right and other posters not being on the same platform. I don't see why oppositions fans should be treated any differently to ours, provided they're not terrible posters. That applies to all support groups, not just Liverpool.

You like this site right? Do you think the amount and quality of oppo posters here is just an organic miracle? This site has a great policy where oppo fans are concerned. The reality is that Liverpool's succcess, their fans large mouths, our lack of form and a new policy in promoting newbs has all added up to the balance being disrupted. Have you ever tried reading the football365 free for all? Most of the new registrations are dippers. By your logic we should be promoting more Liverpool fans than United fans? Really?

It's just the volume girls, don't get your knickers in a twist. We'll always have oppo fans.
Don't you mods control the volume? I don't think you can blame the oppo fans who got through the newbs for the imbalance. Have a word with the mods who promoted them.

The error of their ways has been pointed out. And yes we do control the volume, which is all I am doing.

Thing is, I haven't noticed too big a difference in the balance. There's a few Liverpool fans, yes, but most of them just stick to this thread and other Liverpool related ones. As I said, it's hardly as if there's hoardes of them in all corners of the football forums, mocking us in every thread. If there was, I could understand culling them, but banning some because they support Liverpool seems kind of extreme.

That's a different argument. Nothing to do with who they support. See devilish.

Fair enough. I really don't have a problem with any banning, Liverpool supporter or not. Mods should be allowed leeway to do things, I've been a moderator in Orkut's largest Man Utd forum and it's not an easy job.

It's like the heavens are aligning for us :)

All joking aside if Chelsea have one eye on the Champions league then things could be looking very good for us.

Probably be a lot more volume control done should Liverpool win the league yeah?

So Chelsea now have a CL semi-final either side of the Anfield game.

It's just meant to be for the scouse.

I dunno Saoirse. This gives Chelsea a feel good factor. They could have just brought confidence to Demba Ba and brought themselves a much needed boost.

Certainly not bad news for Liverpool but without a win on Sunday it mightn't matter.

I think you'll beat City. Chelsea was the game I thought you'd drop points in. But now, it really is falling all into place for you. If you don't win it this season you might not get a better chance for a long time.
