Under premier league rules clubs can lose €105m over three years, under UEFA rules this is €45m over 3 years, without knowing Liverpools projected profits this year, it's hard to guess where they will end up, but premier league champions get £100m which would have wiped that 2year loss entirely. In addition, they will have tickets sales and possibly first installment of TV money coming in for 14/15 year. I'd guess that Liverpool will be well within the premier league rules and close to the three year losses for UEFA even with a biggish summer spend. They might have a large sale to Real Madrid to offset too!!
Even if they miss the target, they can clearly show they are going in the right direction, particularly with the stadium plans too which help show a plan for sustainability.
