A big guy who isn't very good in the air. Similiar to Crouch, has to foul players to win the ball.
Except Crouch is better with the ball at his feet than Fellaini. I hope whoever takes overs sells him as a first priority.

Yeah because if he wasn't #10 he wouldn't have got that assist from that set price. You should be a journalist for The Star.Just like we didn't during the corner ?
This fecking Fellaini shittalk all the time, annoying. Got his assist, what more do you want from #10 ? We'd be wanking if Kagawa or Mata got an assist. Meanwhile, Kagawa in CM can't pass properly most of the time. Does this skill go away when moved out of the position ?
He's playing as the deepest lying midfielder. Harsh to judge him on that.Kagawa having another stormer.
What do set pieces have to do with anything when talking about Fellaini's position?
So many times he's been in the box and we haven't put the ball in. I may not like it but if we are going to use him as a number 10 then launch balls at him. If we are trying to play it on the floor then it would make sense to have a number 10 more suited to doing that playing there.

Martin Ives says: 'Wilson has now scored for the U18, U19, U21 and First team in the same season. The future is bright!'
I've always liked him. Been on loan twice this season. First at Carlisle where he scored a couple of spectacular goals, one after a mazy Giggs-esque run cutting in off the left, and then Yeovil in the second half of the season. He's full of promise. Good turn of pace and clever with his one touch play around the box. He might be more of a central player but I think he'll get most of his minutes for us on the left.
Fellaini played that role at Everton in his last season there.Need to have some consistency on here... If Felliani can be judged for playing in a number 10 role then Kagawa can be judged when playing deeper.
Fellaini has brilliant positioning. He's always in just the right place to foul his opponent.
Christ, all this 'back challenging for the title next season' stuff looks well wide of the mark. On this display hanging on to 7th is the challenge.
We've turned into a very reactive and ponderous team. Often someone will play a neat pass in between the lines to someone further forward but rather than that's utilising that space the player will again slow things down and again the opposition will have reorganised. Quick link up showing a genuine understanding between the players simply isn't there. It's all very obvious play, which requires no invention and no one to interact quickly with one another. The number of times I've seen everyone just lined up standing in the box this season has been incredible. Where if the f**king movement?!?!
This coverage is beyond ridiculous. They return from seven or eight minutes of adverts for literally one sentence before cutting back to adverts.

I hope Hull are better than this vs Arsenal in the cup final!
With no worries for either team, waqs hoping we'd see some attacking football but they're content with putting 10 behind the ball and seeing it out.
Kagawa has been absolute dog shit though.
What he said there reminded you of Scholes? You mean he's a new Scholes?

Most defnitely, I'm only surprised i'm still awakeAm i the only one that quite enjoyed that half? Maybe its just cos Ashley Young isn't playing

To be able to control a football would be a good start.
Except Fellaini said that the deeper position is his favourite role. Everyone knows Kagawa isn't a central midfielder. So by that logic we shouldn't have judged Felliani all season because he has played deeper for us than he did at Everton...

Incorrect. Fellaini is used to both positions and is comfortable at either. Kagawa is a number 10 or wide attackerNeed to have some consistency on here... If Felliani can be judged for playing in a number 10 role then Kagawa can be judged when playing deeper.
I'm struggling to remember a more boring half than the one we've just witnessed.
