It isnt.
Good. So it's a good combination between him not being THAT nuts to him being cool enough to play along with it.
It isnt.
How can't you love him
bit early for that kinda clever word-playGonna be the perfect Klopp-gap till someone more permanent becomes available in a few years.
You just said 'rest in peace in peace'.
How can't you love him
Has the version of this video with English subtitles been posted yet? @RedDevilsUK PMed it to me so thought I'd post it here in case it hasn't.
I think Geoff will meet his match with LVG.At least we can then look forward to some hilarious Geoff Shreeves interviews![]()
He certainly is eccentric, but then I think for somebody under that kind of pressure and expectation, you need to be a little nuts already.
We saw with Moyes he just clearly had no idea how to handle it, it made him doubt himself. You know for sure whether for better or worse LVG will do exactly what he wants, and not bow down to players demands.
I really do think this could work out nicely. I think the fact RVP loves him will buy him instant respect amongst the dressing room - something Moyes never managed to earn.
Yep, he may have been first choice anyway but wanted to concentrate on the WC. If I remember correctly he was the choice to replace Fergie when he was going to retire before - so it shows we have always rated him. I am glad this time we've gone for somebody with real european pedigree and experience.A big part of why I wanted Mourinho was that he has big balls. He wouldn't come into the role questioning whether he's good enough. He'll know he is and get on with it. We've missed a trick here by a year, but I suppose are needs are similar now as well. Van Gaal certainly fits that mould.
Kind of funny how the brittish media is all having a laugh at LVG comment while us Dutch are all discussing on forums saying "whats so funny about it? hes just saying the obvious. It was a stupid question".
That tends to go out of the window sometimes in competitive situations.
What is it about people orating loudly in german....
He a total loon though, cant wait!

Haha! He was the exact same way as we see him now in his youth coaching days. Seen the Vine of him celebrating a last minute goal against Feyenoord in the Under 8's? You read that right - THE UNDER 8's!

True. Of course there are no guarantees either way but high pressure competition tends to lead a bit of confrontation. To be fair they played eachother in a champions league final against eachother 4 years ago and were having a laugh and getting on after.

It's not the same thing but Mourinho and Guardiola knew each other from their time at Barca together. I remember watching the Guardiola interview when he finally lost his temper in an interview and spoke out against Mourinho and he also mentioned that and how Mourinho has ruined that.
A more recent though not all that strong an example was Rodgers a few matches ago having a go at Mourinho's tactics despite them being friends.
This kind of winning attitude is sure to rub off on his players I guess.![]()
this man is a complete nutjob but I love it. Can't wait to see what happens but it wont be boring in the slightest
Yeah we're no doubt in for an exciting season under this mental bastard. As that 'bobbins' old man said, Van Haal will just arrive and say 'I'm here', as opposed to Moyes coming in and looking like a tourist. He's exactly what we need right now to dig us out of this hole.

The question in this interview is more telling than the answer and the answer is perfect for that reason.
To ask an elite level coach "what do you know about Manchester United" is quite insulting to the club and the manager, its a leading and loaded question.
What was the interviewer implying? That not many people know about Manchester United? that weve slipped so far off the boil that were in a worldwide crisis that plants us firmly in the same bracket as Aston Villa? Everton? managers now fumble over themselves when asked about us? "What do you know about Man United?" expecting "Well they have a rich history and seem to be struggling now days, I dont know about their squad, they have players like Rooney? Van Persie? and some others?" utterly embarrassing for the journalist. I mean realistically hed be better off asking that question about Man City.
Thats why I love his response, "Stupid question" simple, accurate and completely slaps the british press in the face. Almost like saying "Are you fecking kidding me, you think were talking about Barnsly or something" he obviously has a huge respect for the club and a stern way of handling himself. Hell remind these players what club they are playing for.
I will love it if he takes that much interest in United's youngsters

He's completely bat shit crazy ain't he? I love him already.
As an aside, I found it absolutely hilarious that he couldn't just say 'world cup' in that interviewHe kept saying things like world championships or world league. Brilliant.
He'll stay and with Van Gaal in I think he'll be back to his best. Hopefully they manage to work on his training schedule and unlike Moyes I'm sure LvG will understand that he should be managed differently.
