I still can't understand why we let a player more talented than Yaya Toure go in the one position we've desperately needed quality for a long time. It's just remarkable.

Can I mention just one more time, he was not let go, he was offered a contract & decided to run down his contract & leave. He was offered just as much $$$ as Juve were offering & given assurances about playing time. In no was was he let go, he decided to leave & United could not prevent it.

Juve is a pretty big club but a cheating, corrupt one. It is unbelievable that they still have so many fans and their dirty laundry isn't talked about more.

Is it? Could you ever see yourself not being a Man Utd fan? No matter how much my club turned out to have broken rules, or been involved in corruption I don't think I could ever think of myself as not being a fan of the club any more. Our clubs go back over a hundred years, isn't that what you invest yourself in rather than particular ownership or management?

Does you supporting United correlate with your admiration for the the Glazers?

From what I can see, it's usually a three man midfield. Him and Cabaye/Matuidi as the CMs, and then Nasri pushing further forward as an attacking CM. Although I did see one formation that had him, Cabaye and Matuidi all together.

That surprises me a little bit actually as I didn't think his defensive game would be good enough right now to play as one of the two further back with a player like Nasri as the most attacking midfielder. I would have expected more of the latter trio with Nasri and Ribery on the wings. I suspect it could be like that at the World Cup now with someone in place of Nasri, maybe Griezmann.

Nasri doesn't play for France anymore and probably won't ever again.Pogba plays as a proper CM for France, he goes up and down the pitch and the same really for Matuidi. Cabaye is the one who usually stays just in front of the back four but there is a lot of movement in our midfield which is good. Pogba is too good to be restriced as a DM even if he really could fill that role easily.

Feck sake. Why did we let him go?? He'd solve all our problems and probably global warming too!!

How big a mistake will it be for his career if he actually goes to Chelsea to play for Mourinho?

That's nonsense, based on nothing. Lampard had flourished under Mourinho.
Lampard was renowned for his efficiency and great goal statistics rather than his creative abilities, to be fair.

Pogba has shown he is a great goal threat apart from being a brilliant midfielder as well.

To be fair to him, he gets stitched up by the media, especially in Italy. I mean to this day, they still can't do an interview without asking him about his time at United. All he does is answer the question. Not defending him or picking sides but the fascination the media has with getting him to bad mouth United and Fergie is getting old.

He doesn't pass up an opportunity to slag of United and Fergie, no matter how talented he is his still a childish cnut he should just resist the media and simply say that's in the past and is at Juventus.

Again, to be fair he does on most occasions but he is always bombarded with it and when you look at it, most of the reports and interviews are rehashed interviews. Their agenda against United is a weird one.

He doesn't have to answer the questions, all he needs to say is that he's moved on. He chooses to answer the questions though.

That's what I mean, when he does that, old quotes get brought up and used to suit the article.

Its like an ex slagging off about your dick to her friends. Bitch took the decision to leave you but knows she made the wrong call and now can't help but bad mouth you to feel better. Though she did enjoy the dick back when you were together.

Been reading Elliott Rodger's manifesto?

More like: if you feel unappreciated by an employer, you move on to the next. Especially when your career likely won't exceed 15-20 years. If you get asked why you left, you respond honestly. Then your answer is reused repeatedly in order to exaggerate your discontent with employer no 1. Drama sells.

Juve fan? And who is Elliott Rodger?

I'm sure Pogba, apart from the last few months, enjoyed his time here. There are quotes of him saying that he's a mancunian. But, it didn't work out. Move on.

He made the right call for his career and is more successful now. Any United related question could be answered diplomatically. Note that the question this time was not even about United.

He has no reason to bad mouth about his time here, unless he's immature and still bitter.

Fair enough.

Taking a dig at immaturity using a story about a bitch and a dick seems like a logical way to make a point.

See, you get it now. Smart boy you are.

You know whats worse than loud talkers? Loud talkers who don't know where not to say certain things.

I can't see Juve selling him, unless maybe Real comes up with a massive bid and the player pushed for the move.

What part did you not get actually? The bitching part or the wanker part? They both seem consistent from Pogba whenever United is concerned.

While it's not exactly the same, I'm not sure why he's been criticized for being unable to "move on" when 3 years later this thread is over 230 pages long, filled with most bitterness and rants about United "fecking up" and the Pogba thing still gets brought up almost every week or two even in threads unrelated to him. Seems like United fans are the ones incapable of just letting it go.

I feel like he or Vidal or Marchisio may leave this Summer. One is up for grabs for the right money. But back to Pogba I think he talks about us because people ask him, he should decline to comment though. Immense young player, no clear weakness is his game an all rounder he can be any type of midfielder he wants to be....

I don't know if it's a weakness since he's very young but Deschamps said after Norway something like Pogba should be more focused during the 90min, that his outstanding talent shouldn't make him think it's too easy.

He has won 2 Serie A titles in 2 years and was in the team of the season this year; he has become a starter for France; he has displaced Marchisio at Juventus and provides cover for Andrea Pirlo; he is on the radar of Real Madrid. Why is it a bad decision (for him)?

I agree, it was his problem at youth level too, he is nonchalant and has a tendency to drift and play down to his opponents rather than stamping his authority on a game. This season he wasn't as impressive as last for Juve but he is only 21 and that he should slowly iron that out of his personality. But he can play as a 4,6 or 8. Fantastic ability and a great athlete/physical specimen everything needed to succeed in the modern game.

What does Pogba have to be bitter about?

I think his natural technique and vision could also allow him to play as a 10, not on a permanent basis of course but during special circumstances I mean. He's an exceptional talent and if he doesn't fulfil it, it'll be a case of injuries ruining him or him letting his arrogance take over his football. He's too good not to end up as one of the best players in the world.

I think going for Juventus has completely exceded what he expected for his career.Every party made AT THE TIME the best decision, Pogba left for a club that wanted him and SAF got rid of a player he didn't like the attitude of. Judging in hindsight about how SAF should have kept him instead is way too easy
