Its not that you're defending him but I don't think you can come to terms with the fact that he's an absolutely detestable cretin who should be barred from playing the game.

About 10-20% of them are reacting the way any normal human being would be. The rest are mental, as usual, defending him (he's our maniac; this will stop clubs buying him; Suarez is a red.) You could not make it up.

It's kind of tragically funny. They know Liverpool are doomed without Suarez. So, all they can do, just bite the bullet.
Because he's a child. He's one of those kids who were raised as a football star and never matured beyond being a toddler mentally - because he never had to. It's instinctive within him to bite, just like it is for some children.

Which makes it all the more amusing when they triumphantly bleat on about "the Liverpool Way", how they do things differently and how no man is bigger than the club.
Can you imagine Shankly standing by a racist, 3x biting, repeated transfer requesting, cheating, diving, stamping, odious little shite? If it was any old mediocre player they would have kicked them out of the door quicker than you could sing "YAWN". But Liverpool fans know that without Suarez they're doomed to mediocrity again.
This will play out as it always does with Suarez. The media will call him out on his dickheadedness. The Scousers will bury their heads in the sand, call in linguistic experts and lawyers, draw up photoshops and stills and compare them endlessly. They'll call in eye witnesses to testify Suarez wasn't there at the time and that Chiellini tattooed the marks on pre-game in an audacious attempt to set Suarez up. Suarez will cry out against a "media witch hunt" and say it isn't fair on his family, how he wants to move back home. The Scousers will start petitions and write angry letters to the BBC over their coverage. Madrid et al will come sniffing. Suarez will ask to leave to go home to Uru.. Spain. The Scousers will start throwing shit against the walls and blame everybody but the neck biting bastard himself. He'll be offered a new fat contract. He'll accept. "He's on of us la', he understands us". All will be forgotten. By the Scousers.
And 12 months down the line it'll happen all over again.
He ll be grand in spain playing with Pepe,Ramos and the boys.
