He's probably sick of giving an outright no to so many other journosIt's straw clutching time! That wasn't an outright no.![]()
Valencia always has his head down when runs with ball, Not surprised he always goes for power when through on goal rather than placement. That's why he's so dependent on using his pace and power rather than trying to dribble..You think now 10 years as a professional footballer Valencia had been told to look before he shoots

Plus add-ons?! Wow!
Valencia is going to be LVG's favorite too isn't he? You can just tell.
Why are you so sure?Strootman's nailed on for January
Not about formation, more about the system. The three in the middle is the key. It is usually box to box-dlp-Att mid for Lvg. I presume it goes this wayBe interesting to see that formation. With the personnel a 442 cold easily be adopted.
IF we want Strootman and our future plans involve him, surely it'd be a better idea to buy him now and then let our staff work him through his injury.
Or he could never return to his best and we waste the best part of 30m on a crock. I'd rather wait to see if he returns as the player he was.IF we want Strootman and our future plans involve him, surely it'd be a better idea to buy him now and then let our staff work him through his injury.

3-5-2 seems like a good answer to the Mata/Rooney/Van Persie conundrum. Seems like a good way of getting the most from the likes of Carrick, Herrera, Valencia, Rafael and Shaw too. Even Kagawa would fit in decently there.
Also marginalises Young.
Win-win formation really.

Is Rafael fit?
Did he got the World Cup? If he did that explains it, he'll be on extended leave and return same time as RVP

No he didn't. Alves and Maicon went so he's had a nice long break. If Valencia makes it into the team ahead of him it could be quite revealing.Did he got the World Cup? If he did that explains it, he'll be on extended leave and return same time as RVP
3-5-2 would be perfect for Welbeck tooWelbeck would lose out thoughPresumably RVP would replace him once he's back anyway. Unless LVG needs the pace of Welbeck in that system.
I really hope we don't see much of 3-5-2 in the actual season and Rafael being behind Valencia is sad.
We are signing Robben! Muppets rejoice!
Nope. He's been dumped from the Brazil team since the 2012 Olympics.
Technically he was in Brazil during that period, if that counts. Otherwise no.

Alaba was naturally a box-to-box CM and Lahm worked pretty well in central midfield for Bayern last year.2 full backs in CM. Radical indeed
