Yeah but imo i don't think Moyes is solely to blame.
I think if Moyes hadn't happened Vidic would still be here. Moyes also brought in Mata (who I love), but did we actually need him? I believe some of the squad imbalance is down to Moyes.
That's good news. As I assumed, we play 3-5-2 to get used to the system in case we need to use it but will switch later on
i THINK if we buy his type of players, we will go for 4-3-3. if not he has 3-5-2 in his locker. I think he uses 3-5-2 with this squad as he does not yet have all players at his disposal.
Highlights of what LvG said, based on the article:

He apparently groups Mata, Fellaini and Herrera into the same category of players. I hope this means that Fellaini is off.
From those quotes you could argue that Vidal is not the player to balance the squad (in LVG's eyes)
I don't think anybody would realistically class Mata, Herrera and Vidal in the same catagory. Sure Herrera can play as a number 10, but I don't remember Vidal ever doing that apart from for Chile in the world cup, but that was arguably for their lack of a decent striker.
He seems to have a strange idea about positions. I assume it's all lost in translation, like the recent comments about all our "number 10s". Dunno how he can include Hernandez and Herrera in a long list of players "that can play the same position". That makes no sense at all.

Yeah a bit confusing. I think he considers Kagawa more in his central midfield plans in the current 5-3-2 which is why he doesn't mention him with Januzaj not having played enough to be assessed yet.
Not sure why he mentions Herrera though, if he mentioned him he should have mentioned Kagawa/Januzaj as well.
I believe it is the front three positions he is on about, as either the striker or number 10.
If he is talking about the attacking third? Probably about the central part of the pitch in attacking third, basically 9's and 10's. His English isn't exactly rich.
He's not been playing Hererra as a 10, though.

I didn't read the comment about players that can play the same position as being related to the sentence listing the players we have of quality.
We do have a ton of no.10s or players who have played a good bit as no.10s: Rooney, Mata, Fellaini, Kagawa & Herrera, as well as Lingard & Powell. Januzaj also fancies the no.10 role.
That's another way of looking at it.

On Luke Shaw
“I think he needs to be fit. He is not very fit and therefore he cannot perform what I want, so he is training individually.
“I see what I see. I have spoken with him and we have made a programme. He agreed with me.”
On Rafael’s injury
“You can leave the player in America and treat him here, but you can also choose the best treatment and we think that the AON Training Complex is much better. He can also work out his jet lag much earlier than when he stays with the team. I have spoken with Rafa also and he agreed with me, so we sent him back.”
On Hernandez
“Hernandez is coming later than the other players because as you know, the Dutch have beaten Mexico (laughs). I believe he is fit. When he plays, he’ll play in the striker position of course, but he has competition with Rooney, Welbeck, van Persie, Keane and Zaha, so a lot of players.”
On Zaha
“He shall play in the second half as striker. When we play this system he has to play as a striker otherwise he cannot play.
“Young is also a winger, but he can also play wingback. I used him as wingback against Roma and he did very well and tomorrow I shall use him on the right as well as the left.
On the system and whether he’ll use a back four on tour
“No because it is difficult to change the systems and I have to start at once because of that. We don’t have time for it and now we have three weeks before the competition (Premier League) starts so I have to use all my training sessions to implement this system.
"They already know the other system (4-3-3) as they have played it from the youth teams so that is easy, and you have seen it also in a game against Mexico, I’m sorry to say, because against Mexico we were 1-0 down, then I changed the system to 4-3-3 and we beat them! (laughs)”
On captaincy
“It’ll go to those who play 90 minutes. Fletcher played 90 minutes in the first match, Cleverley played 90 minutes in the second and tomorrow Smalling plays 90 minutes so maybe he is the captain tomorrow! Two more will probably play 90 minutes tomorrow.”

“I think I like this more than 4-4-2 because it gives us a lot of freedom to be able to be aggressive and as a defender I think that is my game so I think a lot of it is just communication amongst the back three and the wing backs as well. Communication is key and we get on really well so I don’t think that is an issue and we will keep on improving on that.”
“As attacks start from the back there is a lot of emphasis on us to start those attacks and give the midfielders the ball in positions where they can hurt the opposition so there is a lot of build up from the back and as defenders we like to get involved.”

I thought everyone would be more worried that he's lumping in Fellalana in with the "quality".
Yeah, there's that too! The whole thing gets more and more bizarre the more you think about it. There's no level at which it makes sense.

Young played well at wing back? I thought he was caught out positionally a few times. It doesn't look natural to him - as you'd predict.
