The worst Wiesn evening is always the one organised through work. I've no idea why, but it never ends well. The evenings with friends are way more civilised.
I throughly enjoyed my time at the Gillamoos and Gaubodenfest, I can live without another Wiesn visit for the rest of my life. Alternatively the Bergkerwa in Erlangen is also a joy.
By the way, how good has Juan Bernat been? I recall a user here on the caf who insisted that the Spaniard is at best an average talent without much potential, but he's been getting better and better over the last couple of weeks.

I liked him a lot at Valencia but didn't expect him to start much in his first season. I was disappointed United weren't in for him but nevermind, we got Shaw who's gonna be 3 times better at least.
I hasnt impressed me yet. He is very fast and has decent ball control, but his decision making is pretty bad, which makes him inefficient. Often he just looks at the ball and runs until he loses it. Mind that he needs more time to settle in, so its not really fair to judge him at the moment.
Haven't seen much of Bayern this season but said at the time that it was a bargain. Didn't expect him to play so much already but he's a great player, if Liverpool hadn't got Alberto Moreno I'd have been annoyed at us not competing for Bernat at that price.

3 times better then a cleary good player(great against City!)is impossible so. I hope you know that The Red machine slowly stops misfiring and starts to get going. Paderborn and cologne came at the right time.
They still misfire. Müller and Lewandowski have enough chances but misfire a lot - that will change...
What's more interesting right now is the formations Pep puts onto the pitch. Yesterday Neuer, 1 central defender, 4 fullbacks, one winger, 2 strikers, 1 defensive and one offensive midfielder...

According to several confirmed media reports, Bayern München ended the 2013/2014 financial year with a record-breaking turnover of € 528M which is a 22% increase compared to the previous year. It's also the first time a German football club has reached the half-billion mark. The adjusted turnover without transfer fees is still at € 488M and the profit after tax showed a solid 10% increase to € 16.5M. If all we have to complain about, is that Manchester United is still slightly ahead of us thanks to the bigger global exposure of the EPL, then I'm a very happy FC Bayern München club member.

Yeah, again. He tore ligaments in training, not sure if it's the same injury as before but "lengthy absence" is how Bayern describe it.
That's bad, hate to say it, but maybe we were lucky to miss out on him...

Not this bad but he seemed to miss a few months of every season with an injury. His brother (Rafinha) keeps picking up injuries too, though not to the same extent as Thiago.

Thiago's injury problems are Guardiola's fault and from the club officials!!!!!! He has send Thiago to spanish doctors after his first injury and Müller-Wolfahrt was totally against it!!!
And Bayern Munich (Sammer & Co.) have allowed this. Guardiola has too much power in Munich.

Why did he send him to Barcelona in the first place though, there must have been a reason? I'll just have to take your word for it that it's Pep's fault because I don't have enough knowledge to say otherwise but why are Bayern picking up so many injuries - Thiago, Schweinsteiger and Javi Martínez especially.
